  • My new side project.

  • I made a slide-out for the truck today. This thing is actually necessary, the interior is really cramped.

  • So, the K-9 Unit is completely done. Which means that my CHP project is coming to an end.      Oh, and I've changed the "K-9 UNIT" font. It looks exactly like the real one now.

Hey! As many of you probably know, the CHP has officially retired their last Crown Victoria 2 weeks ago. Which is sad, but it was just a question of time of course.

Anyway, this is the perfect opportunity to update my Crown vic pack for the second and final time. I want to know anything you guys would like to see, because I'm not touching it again once I'm finished.

Here is a side by side view as a little sneak peak. I'll show more details in a few days. The updated vic is on the right

- new headlights

- new taillights

- new parking lights

- new lightbar

- new wheels

- reduced filesize

- bugfixing (of course)

- Window template

- minor interior changes

The new Crown Victoria looks beautiful!

It is very sad to see them go, I passed by a truck hauling the last two from my local office last week and they were already stripped and decommissioned heading towards their auction site.

The Vic was and still is a classic police car. It's very sad to see it leave the CHP fleet.

It really is sad. The CHP Vic was always my favorite looking police car. And also the car that got me into this whole LCPDFR/Modding scene. I'm just happy the CHP kept holding onto them for so long.

My local office got to show off their last few. I believe this was their final Vic (same unit number) from their post on Instagram.

You could add ALPR  for Liberty version (except K9) as extra, and lojack antennas for all CVs as extra, also, you could remove “highway patrol” and “safety service and security”sign for Polar Bear😁

The goal of this pack is to recreate the most common used CHP vic. I will not add ALPR or Lojack stuff

What about remove “highway patrol” and “safety service and security”sign for Polar Bear?

can you try to make the steady burn flicker? most people dont know it is steady burn but the lights still flicker really fast i imagine it is hard to replicate but if you could would be amazing. also is there anyway you can dull the yellow on highway patrol make it look faded across the back. most i have seen recently some lettering is gone its white lettering. i know these seem hard to replicate. you have done an amzing job it is very sad i dont see them any more even explorers honestly Chargers and brand new 2020 tahoes. i appreciate what you do thanks

not permanent but maybe a model that goes with it that is extra faded i do like the new lightbar looks almost perfect to the real ones the faded looks nasty but it is very true to real life

Are you planning on updating the polar bear Charger to Chip's new setup without the pushbar and red/blue lights in the grill?

No.

  • As far as I know you can only see the flickering effect in videos, you should not be able to see it in person. So no, making the lights flicker would be unrealistic. And is btw not possible.
  • I'll take a look at the last pictures of in service Vics and will edit the lettering when I need to
  • I know my replica looks like it has just left the assembly line. But I will not change that.

The only thing that bothers me, is that I literally answered this question in the post directly above yours. No.
