JJ9856 got a reaction from Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomMy local office got to show off their last few. I believe this was their final Vic (same unit number) from their post on Instagram.

JJ9856 reacted to Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomIt really is sad. The CHP Vic was always my favorite looking police car. And also the car that got me into this whole LCPDFR/Modding scene. I'm just happy the CHP kept holding onto them for so long.

JJ9856 reacted to Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomHey! As many of you probably know, the CHP has officially retired their last Crown Victoria 2 weeks ago. Which is sad, but it was just a question of time of course.
Anyway, this is the perfect opportunity to update my Crown vic pack for the second and final time. I want to know anything you guys would like to see, because I'm not touching it again once I'm finished.
Here is a side by side view as a little sneak peak. I'll show more details in a few days. The updated vic is on the right
- new headlights
- new taillights
- new parking lights
- new lightbar
- new wheels
- reduced filesize
- bugfixing (of course)
- Window template
- minor interior changes

Ok so here is what the cause was. I have the 2017 c++ redistributable packs in but you have to have the 2013 in as well!! JESUS what a headache! You would figure that them being updated and newer versions that it would be covered but no, you have to have the 2013 version in!!
Scripts folder is back in action!

JJ9856 got a reaction from MisterSouthern in Sentinel's ShowroomSorry, I didn't mean on the release date. With the features included in 0.4 like AOP and the inclusion of EUP to backup peds, accurately detailed cars are going to compliment it greatly.
-
JJ9856 got a reaction from Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomThat was it, the cars look great! Thank you!
-
JJ9856 reacted to Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomIt depends.
It should work now on both packs, but let me know if it still happens.
-
JJ9856 got a reaction from motive007 in Sentinel's ShowroomNo worries, glad I could contribute. It's all in the details, down to the whip clip and mic battery packs!
I'll be going through the hiring process and the academy hopefully this summer, I'll try to get you any details you need haha

JJ9856 reacted to Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomBeautiful cars! I'm happy the CHP got those. They look way better than the bulky explorers.
And thanks a ton for your close up image! Seems like all new chargers have it above the door, and I couldn't figure out what it was.
-
JJ9856 got a reaction from Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomMan I can't wait for the new Charger! Never got to ride in one yet but our local office started bringing theirs in and they look amazing. I need to see this as a Polar Bear!
-
JJ9856 reacted to Sentinel55 in Sentinel's ShowroomI'll admit it, I'm not the biggest fan of slicktops, but damn this thing looks gorgeous!

The newest addition to the CHP fleet.
(Almost done)

- Accurate Equipment
- Animated parts (antenna, keys, exhaust)
- Reflective decals
- And a lot of useless little details no one will ever notice

JJ9856 got a reaction from Sentinel55 in CHP antenna questionIt's been a while so I guess this will be for information sake but our local office had an open house today and I got pictures of the tabs for the Explorers and Chargers.
-
JJ9856 got a reaction from HP Deskjet in CHP antenna questionI'd say it's safe to assume it's just a hook and the antenna gets caught under it to stay held down, just reach up and take it off the hook. I don't think they'd stop at every low clearance area to bend it down and get out to release it again, just when they park their vehicles because it could bend the antenna for extended periods of time.

JJ9856 got a reaction from HP Deskjet in CHP antenna questionI went on a ride along with the CHP last year and they had the antenna held down because they (at least in the two offices I had rode with) park their vehicles under covered parking spots. The officer I went with told me "If you hear a metal bang it's the antenna." I'm not sure there's a fancy reason other than to protect it under lower clearances.
