Watch this news video and see how there's a clip where the news team blames GTA SA Police mods for the kids actions. Clearly you can see a modded CVPI and it being grand theft auto. 

At least when the world ends, we know what it'll be blamed on.

The funny thing about our world is that we blame everything else but the actual problem, our parenting.  I've played video games my entire life.  Hell I remember being a young kid and playing Goldeneye 007 online with others.  Did I go out and start trying to shoot people in real life?  Did I go out and try to throw things from the car Mario Kart style?  Pathetic excuses of parents can blame video games all day long, but what it ultimately comes down to is the parents themselves.  Video games will only have influence on those whose thinking capability is already compromised.

This is stupid, I don't see how the game has any relevance in this at all. I've been playing video games my entire life. I still have no desire to go out and shoot, stab, murder, or anything terrible like that. I blame the parents for being morons.

Yeah, good thing the kid didn't get to play LSPDFR, the hacked version of GTA 5 where the objective is to kill police.

This whole 'black market underground hacker' thing is becoming something of a meme around here, but in all seriousness when will TV news people just come clean and admit that they haven't a clue what they're talking about. In any case, what idiot thought to put San Andreas footage when clearly HD-ified GTA V footage would suit their incomprehensible narrative for idiots who think video games and rock music rot children's brains.

I wonder if and when the Media will stop blaming Computer/Video Games for everything wrong in the world?

Let's just get rid of mods. THey've made no positive impact to society, in fact they've made the crime rate worse.

Well, one of my first games was Ace Attorney back in 2001. I am a lawyer now. This thing destroyed my life forever.
