Big Red GAME UPDATED message

Featured Replies

every time a new patch gets released..theres a sudden flood of "OMGWTFBBQ WAI NO WORK" topics in support....is it possible to put something in the support sections "if your rph says Unsupported version, it means it updated, wait for new rph or revert to older version?" this historically happened with GTA IV as well when it updated

I know, It's pretty straight forward.

It says in the RPH pop up what version it supports...

Tell that to people who post in support that they don't know what the heck is going on

There is a banner at the top of the main forum page, and I doubt anyone who doesn't read that will read a second message in the support section.

Needs to be bigger...cuz no one reads it and posts topics almost every hour with out seek g if there s another topic on the issue.....it gets annoying seeing nothing but OMGWTF ITS NOT WORKING IT SAYS THIS "game version xXxX supported version yyyy

If people can't be bothered to read that message which is at eye level when you load the forum then I can bet your ass nobody will read a bigger one.

From experience, nobody reads the announcements or alerts we put up, nobody read the basic set of instructions for getting support to start with they just clicked "ok" and posted anyway. Nobody reads install instructions properly, nobody reads readme's.

My advice? If the amount of "my game stopped working" threads annoy you, stop browsing the support forums.

Then perhaps the community moderators should be more active in shutting them down given there s a butt ton of Info already. I rarely see mods on at all

Hell I barely see members on helping these people or others on the support forums. Don't you just love it when you have a game breaking issue and no one helps? Best feeling in the world.

I used to be a mod on GTA police mods..i used to be a mod here....then a disagreement between myself and the owner of the gtapolicemods spurred harassment and doxing....he demanded sam and cyan pull me from admin here because of the partner ship at the time, sam and cyan caved. I would be active damn near 20 hrs a day helping people

You seem like one of the "good ones".

I was one of the good ones until gtapolicemods started a vendetta against me attacking me on any site that had my alias Asuna..my blog...my YouTube...my old now cancelled facebook

it wouldn't matter how big the message is, people still won't read it. I've been a Moderator for roughly two years and i've only seen a handful of people who have listened to rules/announcments when making a support topic.

Like Will said though, We're Community Moderators, our job is to moderate the community and keep things in order, we don't have to provide/give support. We do that because we're also part of this community and we're kind. That being said being Staff isn't a paid position, it's all volunteer so we don't get paid therefore all of us need a form of income hence why we have jobs. No one on the Staff team can be online 24/7 as it's just not possible with work/personal lives. Many staff members always lurk the forums aswell as it makes it easier to do our duties. So just because you don't see them online.. it doesn't mean they're not there. Also to be fair the Moderators here are as active as they should be, Everytime i log in i have seen Moderators recently reply to topics, move them, deal with reports etc.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me
