Edit: "-norestrictions -nomemrestrictions" seemed to fix that. However, I am still getting that stupid bug where things in the distance start disappearing. Why?

That didn't seem to do anything. At first everything was fine, but after I died and respawned at a hospital the world then disappeared.

What a turn of events. When I ran the game, no matter what I tried I always got texture loss, on a great PC. The game comes back to life, with an unbelievable update and first thing I see in the forum is Olanov, the true LCPDFR man! This has made my life complete. This is incredible, I'm jumping around now.

 

I just hope that the vDH.PoliceHelper gets updated, or works with the update.

I hate to stomp on anyone's parade, but you probably won't be running LCPDFR on Patch 8 anytime soon.

 

Here's all the problems preventing it:

• The original maintainers for both the IV Scripthook and IV Scripthook .NET projects have disappeared.
• Alexander Blade cannot update the Scripthook, as the source code was never released. Even if he modifies the offsets by modifying the binary itself, this would be against the terms that the Scripthook was distributed under, and wouldn't be able to be used or distributed legally. NTAuthority, the brains behind FiveM (and ultimately FiveReborn) posted here about it.
• There are other hooks that could be used, but none of these will be compatible with existing mods. All existing mods would have to be recompiled by the original author to work with a new scripthook.
• Even if the scripthook was updated, LCPDFR and ELS use a special hook, providing additional features, called AdvancedHook. Based on how all of our resources are firmly dedicated to GTA V and other projects, I wouldn't count on this being updated.
• LCPDFR is EOL (End of Life). We won't be supplying an update as it works with 1.0.7.0 quite fine. If Rockstar ended up blocking the 1.0.7.0 update somehow, then this situation might change.

you need to go to their website and update the newest patch and then all is good again..had same issue until I updated it.

Best of both worlds if we could play the updated stable version of GTAIV with LCPDFR. Any chance of a patch to make LCPDFR work with the update?

We have no plans to, no. There are tutorials to downgrade to Patch 7.

I cant get Online on patch 7??

there is a way but you wil have to search that on youtube and why aren't my textures loading even with a commandline it began when i downgraded

 

what about this for an acceptation i can't run 1.0.7.0 because it isn't compatible with windows 10 and i just wasted $20 on getting back into this game just to find out that you guys aren't going to update it is very disappointing and the 1.0.8.0 update wasn't to stop the mod it was to make gta iv compatible with playing on windows 10 because of graphic errors on 1.0.7.0 so i would really like to get back in the swing of lcpdfr or someone refund me my money for this bullshit thanks.

I play 1.0.7.0 on windows 10...

And is there any possibility of adding a LCPDFR module to the 1.8 patch game? . Because gta 4 only works for 1.8 and I would like to play this mod

It's been posted multiple times, there is not going to be an updated version of LCPDFR to run with 1.0.8.0. Downgrade your game. Works fine on Windows 10.

I saw all the messages of this Forum, but i want to say something at those who make the mod LCPD FR.

The players who have Computer with windows 10 and a graphic card Nvidia (+ Intel HD graphics) can't played at GTA IV !

If we downgrade we can't have a normal resolution, we played in 680x480, the game is ugly, and we play with 120 MB of RAM max (time to load game and missions = 5 min). So we can't.

So please, help us and do this update for people in emergency, and who don't have a good computer to play at GTA V xD.

Think about those who don't have enough money to buy a PC GAMER xD
