How do you that? Do you put the pitbar and speaker extras under the pushbar extras? Because I hate it when theres just a pitbar floating on a vehicle without a pushbar

That project has been closed for months, also yes I did that, I do that with every extras on pushbars

Because of the new grille for the 09 Charger the mapping on the template isn't the same anymore, at least for the front bumper part I just put the grille piece somewhere in that area. Texturing the car if you want to will now be harder. Just wanted to let everybody know.

Hey buddy,

everything looks very promising.

If the cars should be proper replicas of the real life counterparts, please take your time and do it right.

I'm so tired of bad vehicle mods with disappearing parts and so on.

I hope it will have just the same light stages like in real life.

And with working TD and spotlights.

That would be awesome.

Then we'd have not only an awesome CHP fleet, rather then an awesome LAPD fleet too.

Well the takedowns and Spotlights probably won't be working because I need the extras. The of the CVPI will include all variants of the CVPI with all types of ALPR cameras LAPD uses. and that's why I need the extras.

Okay.

But LAPD without spotlights?

Really?

I'd prefer not to have ALPR'S instead of working spotlights!

The ALPR'S are pretty useless in game.

They actual don't work.

How i'm supposed to see the purps in a car on a traffic stop at night without light?

You know what an extralight is? Also the spotlights ingame don't work right either.

Well, if you will make it like Hurk with his CHP pack then the spotlights work. You can't adjust them.

But there is light.

That is basicly the same thing as an extralight

Thehurk used els takedowns for his spotlights.  ELS for some reason makes spotlights as bright as the sun.  Using extalights isn't bad either.  Its the highbeam function everyone used before els.

That's what i meant.

So, the extralight can be used as spotlight?

Why did Scuderio say the cars can't have working spotlights because he needs the extra for ALPR'S?

Yea, the extralights can be used for spotlights. I personally use the extralights for spotlights so they won't blind me in-game and ELS for the actual lightbar takedowns.   I think scuderio meant that he won't be using ELS takedowns, so that he can have more than just one extra left for ALPRs and such.

Hey just a heads up, the common LAPD Crown Vics DO NOT have the push bar.  It appears from your pics that you are have a push bar on common version and not on the k9.  If you needed any authenticity help, I lived in LA for a huge part of my life.  I also made a lot of police cars for GTA IV and specialized in surrounding cities such as my famous El Segundo car and many others such as Culver City and more.  I will PM you also for other details.

Scuderio is making a sort of multipurpose LAPD CVPI if you will.  The pushbar and multiple different types of ALPRs for the traffic division cars are all extras so the user can choose between a traffic car or a normal patrol car.  The K-9 is a separate car all together.  You don't have to worry about the accuracy of his LAPD cars, they are all up to spec.

Well that's exciting.  How about the ELS lighting?  Its been so frustrating since there have been only a few ELS LAPD cars, but they all seem to miss it with the 3 stage lighting setup.  Its so unrealistic.  I have been willing to help, but no one trusts no body anymore these days and since GTA V, I have been out of the modding game for a little while, but in GTA IV, I have a long list of cars and was a pretty popular modder back then with highlighted cars every other month.  So, I would be glad to help or fine tune the LAPD especially since I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and was constantly getting videos for other modders making CHP/Culver City/El Segundo/LAPD etc.

LAPD lighting goes like this for the Crown Vics Arjent bar.

Stage 1:  single rear amber lights ONLY and nothing else    O -  - -  - -  and   - -  - -  - O

Stage 2:  Double rear amber lights and now front Red/Blue steady burns  OO  - -  - -     and    - -  - - OO

Stage 3:  All lights in code 3 mode.

Takedowns should be option ] and side alleys Alt-] or ] and [, either way.

Simple enough, but no one is doing this, because most don't know how.  I did it for my cars and my LAPD car in GTA IV, have a look https://youtu.be/nRvGFffpmpo

If you do this, you will have the ONLY and first authentic LAPD car with ELS for GTA V.   So please add this correct 3 stage lighting.  Thanks.... Oh and go easy on the in car computer screen brightness.  That's always a breaker for me since GTA V now has the auto iris feature.  I look forward to seeing what you do with this.  If you need help, let me know.
