I've said it before and I'll say it again. Terrorists. They're terrorists.

(5)the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—

To be fair, she was reaching for her waistband. Oh but my bodycam malfunctioned

It's like, I don't like rioting and burning up your own neighbourhood cos it only hurts yourself in the long run. But I am not surprised it happens when you've got so much poverty and government agencies acting out of control, plus getting away with a lot of it. There's only so long you can take that...

Trust the pro-police fanatics to say police should train with live ammo though, because that's the safe thing to do with other people on the recieving end, right?

Any way, I use to be in support of the BLM. They started with a message; that the current police discrimination of black people/minorities in general is a problem (Just look at the DOJ report on Baltimore PD). They have devolved into an organization that doesn't care about the facts and paint with a broad brush, which is literally the problem they set off to tackle.

It's a sad state of affairs.

Yeah I can't say I support all of the BLM folk at all from what I've seen, but I sure as hell support the message it spurred on. It'd be nice if one day they could find common ground and serious talks could be established for all the problems going on..

Yep, ev'ry time I'm a-hustlin' dat popo opresses me.

Guy had a gun, officer had a bodycam. I'll be really surprised if the one who shot had zero criminal history.

Yep, there're a lot of issues in the States, as far as I'm concerned. Poverty, crime rate, violence, all that. Is the police responsible for fixing those issues? No, they only fight crime, and if someone tries to mess with them, he gets shot. It's sorta not the cops' fault more and more young people choose to cross the line and become criminals. The country has other authorities for that (like Mr President, a huge friend of minorities, who didn't seem to help the problem much). Milwaukee is run by a Democrat, right?

This goes beyond Democrat/Republican. Cities in the south with very conservative mayors have the same problems.

If you read the report done on the BPD, blacks in that city (and others that the FBI is currently investigating) are being painted with a broad brush as "thugs".

Also, I'm not sure what you think the president can do in terms of governing cities, he is in the Federal Government, not state or local government.

That wasn't really my point...

No, I did not, therefore I'm not going to comment on it.

I'm not sure what the police can do either. State or local, their job is to fight crime. Eliminating poverty and all is someone else' job.

I really don't get how people disagree with me calling them terrorists? How is burning down cities and attacking people because they're white anything short of that?

http://www.theamericanmirror.com/video-milwaukee-agitators-shout-black-power-attack-white-drivers/

If you don't want to call them terrorists, at least call them a black form of the KKK. Screaming "black power" while burning down a gas station and attacking whites sounds a whole lot like screaming "white power" while hanging blacks. I am in no way attempting to say black lives don't matter though. I think they do. But, BLM is clearly not interested in making black lives be equal to the rest. They want black lives to be better. They call for segregation (yes really) and tearing down the system (pure anarchy).

Defend BLM if you want to, but you should always remember how they destroyed businesses after the police shot and killed an armed man.

And yes, Wisconsin is an open carry state, but fleeing police with the weapon in arm's reach calls for three shots to the back.

Democrat or republican, it doesn't change much, their names are different but all in all they often end with the same results, it's just another way to give people the illusion of choice so they don't start looking elsewhere. :)

Maybe. Politics is a dirty business, in the States, in Russia, or elsewhere. I'm just trying to point that I'd be blaming the mayor or the Governor, not the cops. Or at least not only them.

Because people love to watch the world burn, literally. It seems in this day and age there isn't an agenda now and when someone points out critical, fundamentally flawed points in said agenda, they're immediately wrong. People seemingly need something to always believe in, no matter how wrong, inhumane or unjust it is. It's one of those things that resemble the classic herd of sheep flocking to a given thing, in this case it's people aptly named sheeple. We've got sheeple now, we've surpassed Sheep and have successfully taken over their stupidity and will to be led astray.

I don't know how people can disagree with the label of terrorist, but again when you're being force fed a whole load of BS in the name of a cause you feel the need to believe in, you'll do almost anything. I truly do not care if you're black, white, purple, orange, blue or yellow, if you purposely cause harm in any sense of the word, whether it's harming a small business by destroying it, killing innocents in the name of, or actively seeking aggression, you're no better than the thing you are fighting for. If anyone can seriously defend this "group" after all of this, then there is a serious problem or rather you're a part of the problem.

I think you fundamentally misunderstand the point of BLM. And the difference between BLM carrying out an attack, and random idiots at BLM rallies carrying out an attack. MASSIVE difference that didn't even seem to enter your mind. You also didn't once mention the very real injustices that BLM has protested, which were proven by the DOJ investigations into Ferguson and Baltimore. Two cities that were ravaged by the riots. But in those cities, black people were systematically held down and oppressed by racism within the justice system and our society as a whole. People with black sounding names get hired less than their equally qualified white counterparts, and black people are arrested at higher rates for drug related charges, even though white people commit those crimes more often. Those are just two random examples that you can find tons of research on if you just google it. That subtle oppression has been applied to communities of color for decades, and their frustration and anger is all pouring out now. So take those cities, of which I believe Milwalkee is another, and imagine an entire population of people being targeted, harassed, held down, and denied opportunities. So when we as outsiders, in our relatively cushy lives look at a riot, we think "what the fuck are they so angry about?", but that's the whole damn point, my friend. People like you STILL don't get why they're so angry. You've actually perfectly demonstrated why BLM is so important in an attempt to delegitimize them.

Oh, and we don't call them terrorists because they're not terrorists. They're rioters. They've existed since the beginning of our civilization, and we've never once called them terrorists. People are using that word now because they REALLY hate the message of BLM, and it feels good to call them the worst thing possible.
