[WIP] LSPDFR+, British Policing Script's International Sister Modification

Featured Replies

What I would like to see added is the chance to pull over cars from a further away distance than the current option. I sometimes feels that you have to be right up against the other cars Bumper to get a lock on to pull them over, It's the same with Finkones Police radio. I feel you need to be to close to the suspect to select registration checks when I feel it would be more realistic if we could be 4-5 car lengths away. If both LSPDFR and Finkones radio allowed us to be further away to select both options that would feel much more realistic than it does to date. Just my 2 penny's worth but something that I feels worth mentioning. My apologies is these are not in the right place to mention and if it's not please let me know so I can move them to the correct place. Many thanks

Made a great breakthrough: LSPDFR+'s Pursuit AI now keeps AI police units under proper control - until YOU attempt to box the suspect in!

In regards to the court system I had an idea of when you issue them a summons to appear in court, that maybe (at random) that person fails to show and it will appear on the court cases menu activating

This way 3d vector coming out of the car will meet with the closetst car and pull it over. Game juat tries to mark the vehicle you want, so marks the closest car breaking front vector.

Hey man, you still open for features? How about a roadblock system to aid you in pursuits?

The vanilla police uses some nice compositions of cars, spike strips ans such, an ability to call in these units in these formations would be awesome :)

Hope you can get a look on it,

Thanks

It looks great! The other cop cars seem to park up nicely in pursuits too, instead of causing havoc. Though one thing that bugged me was when the cops didn't get out, even though the suspect was clearly stuck and hadn't moved for multiple seconds (07:45 - 08:05). Will the cops only get out after the suspects did?

I don't mess with the getting out part, so that was native LSPDFR behaviour.

I think the suspects got stuck due to both their doors being blocked.

I see. Possibly it was just a coincidence then, because when I have pursuits and the suspect happens to stop the cops get out quite quickly. I use the request PIT feature of Police Radio anyway, so the suspects+cops should get out relatively quickly nonetheless.

This does look amazing. Not sure if its too late to ask for features but it would be great to be able to ask the perp something along the lines of "is this your vehicle?" and "are you aware of any warrants?" when pulling stolen vehicles/wanted drivers

I have a great idea. I love the sound of this modification already. Would it be possible to add a roadblock script or possibly create a "Pursuit Toolbox" for example, make it possible to request a few units to go ahead of the suspect, shut the road down and plant a spike strip or stop sticks, Or perhaps have a roadblock full of police vehicles blocking the road. It's just an idea i came up with.

It would be awesome if you could set how far out your backup spawns. Personally, I'd like to have a few minute delay between calling for backup and them getting there. As well as the ability to set the distance at which cars spawn. Not sure if it's possible, but these would be great additions to your already superb script.

Spawning of baackup is not controlled by Albo. It's completely controlled by LSPDFR plugin. Nobody except developers can change that. If you want this, you can start a topic in SUGGESTIONS section of forum.

Gotcha. Just assumed he could, since he's able improve much of the other AI functionality.

He can do that.
Look at PNWParksFan's Custom Backup, Albo would have the same tools, so could if he really wanted to.

I'm NOT speaking about CARS MODELS. I speak about SPAWNING LOCATION (behind or far away from you)

I know Fenix2525WOT said that you wouldn't be able to select a car to pull over unless you was right up close to it as we have now but couldn't you use the Radar or custom pullover red cursor to select cars from a distance? Just a thought and something that I have no idea whether you could do that or not? It would be well cool if you was sitting at the lights but saw an offence at a distance and you could use the Red cursor to select that offending car just in till you then got close enough to then select E to pull that offender over. Like I said I was told somethings couldn't be done due to the game mechanics but that might be something that could be tweeked. Would be very interested to see if that was possible.

Does that not configure backup distance too?
I could swear I noticed a difference when using it.
Was probably just me going nuts.
