@@trooperMNG suggested a slicktop version, so I made one. Still just one model but can be slicktop or regular. Both the interior lightbar (custom made) and the Defender are extras, so you can have one

What is that part below the left rear wheel well and above the right side hood?

I believe that is for the interior color of the doors, but I would ask Thero. It should be fine if you just cover it in whatever your predominant color is

Yea exactly as captain said. It's the inside of the door panels, the inside of the body of the car behind the doors, the hood, and the trunk lid.

This was done at the request of captain so that when someone does a paint job on the model and they add decals and logos that go over both doors it doesn't stretch to the door jams and also doesn't stretch over the chassis of the car behind the door. It's a little detail that most people wouldn't look at but it was all about the details and making it look better.

I left it on the template instead of hiding it in case someone wanted to do the traditional black and white color but would want the door jams to be white as well or if not could leave it so just the outside of the car was white.

Currently working out issues with the pushbumper... it snaps off at the slightest collision. Once I have a solution for this it will be nearly ready for release.

In vehicles.meta flags section, add "FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG"

Tried that, as well as increasing the mass of the pushbumper. Still no luck.

Pushbumper is no longer an extra but the wraparound is. I have added intersector lights (blue/red/white) to the sides of the pushbumper and have also redone many of the sirens. The interior lightbar has been changed to include 2 white LEDs as well. Collisions have been improved and now features multiple HQ skins by Krame86 including K9 unit and Supervisor skins.

Looking brilliant! Hopefully not much longer too go on this one. Itching for some patrols in this beast.

Cheers

Version 2.0 is now released!

Really decent vehicle. It's great, really. But I just realized that we should report bugs in WIP thread, so I "double" my thoughts which already in the comments section:

1. Rear lights should be darker and\or a bit transparent to be a bit closer to original. Now they look a bit plastic.

2. Bug with front-bottom lights, they aren't attached to the body and just hang in the air when bumper is damaged and still emit light.

3. Bug with windows. Cracked glass texture (I guess it's called so) is outstretched or\and scaled on the rear and middle side windows (other two on each side are fine).

Thank you for this great Tahoe. It's the best one here imo.

I will look into these issues. As for the lights, the fog lights, pushbumper lights, grille lights, and rear TA are all the same siren at the moment so they will not break accordingly. I will see if I can find a workaround for that, but it's difficult to include all the lighting setups I have when I only have 20 sirens available to use.

Thanks for reply. I forgot to say that rear lights should be darker when turned off. sorry if I confused you.

The collision need to be fixed. I can walk through the vehicle.

The collisions work normally. I have sometimes encountered a bug when playing LSPDFR that can cause this to happen to a vehicle (not just mine, others as well), it happened to me when searching a vehicle during a traffic stop and afterwards the collisions for both my patrol car and the suspect vehicle had disappeared. Is it like this all the time, or just in the one circumstance?

Ah ok ya I see what you mean, Only when I use LSPDFR I can walk through the vehicle. Weird how some cars do this and some don't.
