I doubt it will. If I told you my current PC can run GTAIV maxed out with an ENB with 100 FPS, would you believe me? I have a Radeon HD 4350, an AMD Phenom II 910 and 8gb of memory. Do you even know w

  • Is that even a PC? Regardless, can you post your specs please?

Aw hell naw. That thing will either blow up or implode when you play GTA.

I decided to change up the CPU I wanna get. Should I get a 4,6 or 8 core processor? I want it to play games for at least another 5-8 years, at the best. An 8 core 3.8ghz CPU is like $250.

I've narrowed it down to these:

Thoughts?

Like I said, not enough information. I wouldn't risk it. For that low of a price, it's most likely a weak CPU and an integrated video chip. Contact the buyer to make sure what the video card is. I've told you many times, it's not possible for any less than around $550-600. Stop jumping for the lowest possible price you can find, because you're going to wind up with 2 useless computers on your hands. The one I linked you is the cheapest one you can possibly get that can play GTAIV rather well. I'm not going to reply to your messages asking me if "this is good enough", because it's probably not. You can buy a cheap crappy PC now, or wait a few weeks and get a good one.

You won't need a 8-core for sure and I don't know of a single game currently on the market that utilizes 6 cores. GTA only uses 4 however, games that come out in the future will begin to use 6. It's up to you which you get, however it depends on how much you want to spend.

I'd rather spend alot now for an 8 core so I don't have to spend anything later. But this request is old, I'm getting the FX-4170, quad core, 4.3 ghz.

: double-post merged

I didnt double post :/ and no? I thought it was good ? Its not? Its specificly for gaming.

yes you did, however Nicolai merged them for you.

Just because it's specifically for gaming doesn't mean it will run GTA. It may run Call of duty, however GTA is a bad port from a console and requires a good CPU, GPU and a decent amount of RAM. Even some of the best gaming PC's struggle to run GTA maxed out.

It has 6 GB of RAM though. And I think it has a good GPU and CPU.

CPU and GPU are bad on those. Laptops can't handle games like this.

Si it cant run the game at all? Im not looking for the best computer in the world. I just want one that can run the game cuz the one I have now cant.

Save up for the one I sent you, or I can get you a list of parts and you can put it together your self.

Si it cant run the game at all?

Read the minimum requirements for GTA IV and you can answer your own question. What everyone is trying to get across to you is that any of the computers you have selected so far have either been the wrong fit because they plain and simply can't run the game at all, or if it would run then it would be a horrible gameplay experience. GTA IV is a bad console port that eats up resources. I don't have my game maxed and my system was rather powerful when it was built, a couple years after the release of GTA IV. You're also not thinking about any other games you might play aside from GTA IV. It won't be the only video game you play for the rest of your life, so it's important to have your technology scale for the future.

I've seen plenty of customers at these electronic stores that sell laptops that come in for $300 PC's and expect them to be everything they would want. They want the computer because it's cheap, and they assume all computers are the same. That's not the case.

I've had so many people ask me if their crappy PC can run GTA IV. I won't even bother anymore, I'll respond with

no-meme-rage-face.jpg

You won't respond to anyone like that, as per the community guidelines.

If anyone is in doubt as to whether or not their PC can run a game, use: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx , select Grand Theft Auto IV from the drop down menu, that will give you the answers you need, it will tell you if you can run the game on the minimum settings, recommended settings, and what components could do with an upgrade.

Bah, I knew I would get the newspaper

How would that help if you want to buy a pc? Maybe I missed the update where PC manufacturers now send out free computers to test on that website?
