No, they just drive towards the target ped and exit the vehicle when they get close enough (which is still ridiculously far most times).

Looks very awesome, can't wait till it gets released, will be interesting to try out the new features.

If they need testers, they will ask anyone that they feel fits the job. Asking them for a place is a safe way to strike yourself off the list of potentials.
