I was surprised when I noticed all CHP Explorer's use old(not led) spotlights.
@SeaHawk14   do you know why?

Some of them do, some of them don't. Not sure why.

If you're making a CHP model, I would just go with the LED spotlight.

Some departments will take what's still servicable from older vehicles, like the lightbars, radios, spotlights and place them on the new cars. Unless they intend to purposely use brand new equipment (such as a change of lightbar) then they can re-use some of the older stuff, as long as it's still compatible. It keeps costs down, so I'm guessing that's what the CHP did. It could also be that some stations got their vehicles before others, so when the new LED spotlights were ordered onto the cars, by then some stations already had the old bulb spotlights, whilst all following stock got the new LED spotlights. Annoying inconsistencies.

i don't know if sharing this is allowed or negative, but ill do so anyways. this guy has a modded lights file that fixes the rear taillights to red. maybe this tailights file can be added to your next update?

He just went into the lights texture and made the taillights red. I think if we want it red he'll have to make it red without changing the texture? Cause then it wont look good.

how the explore comming along looks good so far. i think you should have your light bar work with EVL beta also would be nice if the the rear of the light bar would be a traffic light bar yellow

It already is yellow if you change the carivations.

Yes

BTW, now im working on dodge charger 2009, soon i post some screen of progress.

i think you should do something like a light bar and then a traffic advisor on your rear window havent seen that done in gta5 gallery_2982_628_15705.jpg

I dont believe that is currently possible in GTA V without ELS or something like it.

yes, ELS for GTA V only in development, so we cant make a traffic advisor at the moment

BTW, Dodge Charger topic here

I'd say for now work on improving the Explorer model, don't bother about converting your vehicle to ELV, as ELS should be coming out at some stage, that way when ELS is out the vehicle will be perfect and the lighting will work well. Are you still working on the interior of the Explorer?

And yeah, I agree, that red taillight fix looks horrible, it blends in with the rest of the light. Surely there must be a way to have the light still textured as white, but red light when it's on.

I'm Still having major Light bar Issues! If anyone could help me that would be great! I followed the read me and it still doesn't work!

Why is that? Taillights look like shit when they're white and that is definitely not accurate. Looks much better with the fix.

Edit: Okay, looking at the pictures, maybe it is accurate, but car looks better with red taillights imo :p
