  1. This is an amazing idea, please keep up the awesome work!
  2. Been wanting something like this for a while. Nothing more annoying than requesting a Code 2 unit just to have them immediately get back in their car and speed off.
  3. I would love to know this as well
Best and most accurate FPIU on this site. Keep up the great work!
  4. Yes the prisoner transport partition
  5. Does anyone know the make/model of the prisoner cage the LAPD uses in their FPIU explorers?
  6. Amazing model! It's the only one I ever use. My one suggestion is to have the lightbar takedown (white) lights come on steady burn with the high-beams/spotlights.
  7. Are the lights supposed to come on with the sirens when you hold down the Manual key/button?
  8. @OfficerFive0 WOW! Dude, your Arjent is SO COOL! Amazing work!!! You are the best modeler on this site, hands down!!! How did you make such an awesome lightbar?!¿!?!¿!? Is this the kind of credit/recognition you feel you deserve? It's pretty obvious that @DroidRZRLover didn't steal your lightbar and that he has been helping @Desmond develop/test this model for a while now. So why do you come in here trying to start shit?
  9. Please please please make this. I have wanted this from day one. Who doesn't love yelling at suspects?
  10. The Maze Bank Arena resembles a scaled down, domed iteration of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Maze Bank: LA Coliseum:
  11. Did you use a font for the Sheriff text on the sides?
  12. No need to apologize! Now that you point it out, that photo does actually look like photoshop (door handle, side mirror, door logo).
  13. This picture was most likely taken at the CHP training academy, which explains why it's lacking most of the standard patrol equipment such as push-bar, antennas, ALPR, etc. With the LAPD (and most police/sheriff agencies) you will see that some vehicles have push-bars and some do not. The ones that have the push-bars are usually units that are assigned to traffic patrol, and the units that do not have push-bars are usually assigned to regular patrol. As SeaHawk14 mentioned earlier, since the CHP's main role is to enforce traffic on the highways, you will very rarely find one that doesn't have some sort of push-bar. (Unless they forgot to install it lol)
  14. A thing to remember when you're adding the antennas to the car is that only the "Low Band Main Radio" and maybe the "VHF Radio" antenna's are going to have that bobble/sway movement in real life. So if possible, I would recommend only adding the bobble effect to those main two antennas and leave the shorter ones stationary.
  15. I live in Los Angeles and I really only see the CHP FPIU with the non-wrap around push bar. I've only seen 1 in the last 8 months that has had the wrap around bar. I remember reading somewhere that they usually only equip those kinds are bars on vehicles that are used to patrol rural areas, as they are mostly used for pushing debris off the road. Also, every CHP FPIU I've ever seen has had ALPR scanners mounted on the roof. I even see them on a lot of the LAPD FPIU traffic units as well. Here are some detailed photos that will hopefully help you.
  16. Some of them do, some of them don't. Not sure why. If you're making a CHP model, I would just go with the LED spotlight.
  17. What a fucky community. I'll never understand why we can't all work together. @Desmond98 please let us know if there is anything we can do to enable you to keep working on this.
  18. In real life the Interceptor Utility's are real AWD. There's a bunch of cars in the game that are AWD, like the Granger. Edit: I'm using the Baller2 handling for the Explorer, and I just flipped it over, and it looks like AWD is working. For some reason I thought it wasn't. All good :)
  19. Not sure if its possible to add, but all Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles are All-Wheel-Drive.
  20. Hey guys, I'm want to start modeling a 2016 Police Interceptor Utility (Ford Explorer) for V and just wanted to make sure someone wasn't already working on it. I also wanted too see how much demand there is for this model as well. I attached some reference pics in case you haven't seen the 2016 model. Pics:
  21. Awesome Tutorial! I so have been wanting to do this for a while now and now I can! Thanks
