Website running poorly

Featured Replies

I'm unsure if this is the correct place for this post, but the site seems to be running poorly as well as downloads.

I've been barely able to download 3 things without them failing or taking forever, my bandwidth is almost 1GBPS so I know it's not that. Anyone else having issues?

I know they have been having problems with bots taking up bandwidth, hence the new reCAPTCHA's on downloads. That probably has something to do with it. Other than that, I have not seen anything.

It's seemed to really improved, things are starting to complete OK now. I guess with 2,500 people online downloading this isn't such a crazy thought lol.

Cyan has stated that it's running poorly because of the bandwidth, just keep trying every so often (preferably when there isn't heaps of people online) to access to downloads section, it's a pain but right now there isn't much anyone can do at the moment. GTA V + Newly released/anticipated PC mods = a lot of traffic.

Cyan is working on fixing this issue though =)

I've been downloading files from here that have absolutely nothing in them. Happens in both Chrome and IE. It's happened with several different mod creators which makes me think it's a website issue but idk.

Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

I had the same problem, but it's working again :)

I have had to refresh a page like 12 times before it displays. Downloads are "normal".

I don't know if Invision board provide some caching options, but if its the case, it should be activated^^

Also don't know if you use Nginx, but it could help mitigate the load ^^

Yes, we use Memcached, and a custom build of nginx for our frontend server. None of the issues are related to load.
