I just tried and it doesn't even download, it finishes right away then won't let me open it

Ive tried to uninstall winrar which I use for winzip and again no fixes. Ive searched the forms and found other members with the issue in the past and tried their "fixes" and nothing worked....

Can't get it on my end, try making sure your browser or antivirus isn't blocking the files.

This is most likely a technical fault on their end as i've also just tried downloading LSPDFR and it's given me the same error, it seems that this error has started occurring when Cyan implementing the CAPTCHA software. Since the last time i downloaded LSPDFR 0.2a it wasn't linked with CAPTCHA.

It is pretty obvious that there is lately an issue with downloads and this is not on our end. Example: yesterday I tried to download LSPDFR 0.2a with no chance, Firefox wasn't downloading anything and Chrome was downloading a file with a 0 byte size. The website started to be slow and all (DDoS attack?) and when it was available again then I had been able to download the file. Why would my browser refuse to download a file and then suddenly do it although I haven't changed a thing?

I am running in the same issue with another mod today: after doing the security check and hitting the Submit button Firefox does nothing while Chrome downloads an empty file.

And please stop telling me that this is my browser.

I'll maintain it's an issue with your browser or ISP BUT please keep in mind that we're often under DDOS attacks which may impair service. On another note, it's a very popular site, sometimes there is a peak of users where some might experience issues because of the load. If it doesn't work one day, try the next day. If you haven't been able to download files for weeks on end, then it might be a good idea to create a topic.

I can now confirm, where are you all trying to download from?

I don't see how it can be my browser... when 3 different browsers (Firefox, Chrome and IE) give pretty much the same result: impossible to download the files. Besides I know that there is an issue where some files are tagged as being malicious — I ran into this issue as well — but I know how to deal with this and still get the file despite the warning, I can see the difference between this and what is happening here, the fact that it is simply impossible to get a file, for instance Firefox does nothing at all after the security check, I don't even get a warning about the file being potentially dangerous.

I don't see how it can be my browser when many people are running into the same issue, with various browsers.

What do you think is more plausible? That the website has an issue with how it processes security checks and enables downloads or that we all are technically challenged and have no idea how to download a file?
