As far as the siren key and police computer key, I just went into GTA V keybindings in-game pause menu and set my horn key to the number 2, so it's located right above the acceleration for me. No other key interference after that. It takes getting used to, but just til another/better solution is found.

Yeah, I put it on the < key instead. I used the numbers to MoreControlV plugin.

Everything is great for me guys! Thanks for the Update! Running smooth at 60 fps full vsync and settings, No crashes or anything a definite improvement over 0.1E. I have not noticed any hiccups yet. I mapped my Horn to H & H to L and Left E blank for the computer and civilian approach.

Make sure you have no other plugins or 'mods' interfering with LSPDFR's control scheme, otherwise it could cause unwanted problems. Have each key separate from one another, especially if it's a key you use frequently. I know in using the PoliceRadio plugin that constantly mashing the "A" button for me on the Xbox 360 controller would cause PoliceRadio to crash unexpectedly because the 'tackle' function was set to that, which unfortunately was also set to make yourself run faster. You also should recheck all your .DLL files in the main directory and sub directories to make sure they're all unblocked for Rage Hook Plugin to access, and make sure the Rage Hook exe is running as administrator too, as well as all the GTA V exe's (including Social club), are running as admin. 

Alternatively, if you have multiple backups for GTA V make sure you are running the correct one. Especially if your GTA V is of another version (prior to the Ill Gotten Gains II title update), as this may cause problems too. If you're running Scripthook, double check to see if you are running the latest which came out July 09.

Don't go fullscreen during the loading screen because the game will crash

Try go windowed screen mode

I'm having problems! 

I extracted everything to the root GTA 5 folder, made sure I had the NET framework 4.5 installed and everything. I unblocked all of the components in properties when I downloaded it, and I ran the RAGE puglin hook as an administrator. It showed the logo glowing and the disclaimer about how it is 'intended to be helpful' (I wasn't putting that in quotes to be sarcastic, just in case you were wondering). It launches the game and loads up story mode. However, I can't bring up RAGE by hitting F4. F4 doesn't do anything! Also, I notice that in the corner, the text that shows "RAGE PUBLIC ALPHA..." is not present. So I guess it is functional enough to serve as a launcher for the game but it won't bring up the console. P.S. - I didn't have this problem with 0.1

Yup I'm feeling it. Officially a fantastic release. The hype train has arrived in the station, thank you guys for the hard work despite the delays to give us some cool new content! I know I appreciate it! :)

Does anybody have any information on the API? I really want to start playing around with it but I'm rather unfamiliar with LCPDFR/LSPDFR's API system in general. I tried to use the old API Example for LCPDFR (because according to them it implements at least a basic version) and change the namespaces around but so far have been unable to compile it.

 

Otherwise the new changes are fantastic, just hurry up and allow us to rebind the police computer key ;)

(also, console commands to reload LSPDFR plugins)

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the Police Computer key? It seems it conflicts with the siren key, is the only solution to change the siren key?

What I did to fix everything was reinstall GTA5 (on steam). For some reason mine didn't upgrade to the latest version but when I installed it again it did. Try it as it worked for me.

I like the new stuff so far, except having to type everything in.

When i press shift to start a pull over it crashes my game. Dont know if its just me or if other people are having this to, other than that its looking great!

I get it where I ask for ID and there is nothing that pops up? Any ideas. Same for when I ask for it on foot also?

How exactly do you ask for peds id? I get it to work sometimes but most of the time they just get mad and start to fight before the promp to investigate appears. what is the proper action?

I will try that. I wonder if that will work with the controller as well.

If the typing plates in thing is permanent, hopefully there will be a way to kill keypresses registering in the background. Currently, if you type a plate in with an F, you get out of the car, and other types of weird stuff.
