  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

Well Well Well...what do we have here..

Something in my head is telling me that LSPDFR is not releasing on Friday... Anyone else have this feeling??

I'd agree, but with the SS Sam posted on the page before, and the whole joke the developers have going on i think 100% it's real.

Being as they've hinted at it being almost done a few times, bugs getting in the way though. i also believe it's real.

and who the fuck realistically puts a countdown for maintenance, while not posting anything on their Twitter about it?

That's just the code for the countdown

That is true

Will some mods interfere with LSPDFR?

Even if you were home when it was released you may not be able to play it as soon as it is available because of heavy traffic on the website

That is true. Well if it released on friday I will at least be watching the first people to show LSPDFR on youtube or twitch.

I recommend Bay Area Buggs or Jeff Favignano

How well will the website handle the traffic on release? Got curious after what @orrwhat4 wrote.

It will be pure doom with tens of thousands trying to get on, plus an added DDOS for good measure.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Are you going to turn on that protection where to get into the site you need to fill out a Captcha and then you need 2 people in different rooms to turn keys at the same time, etc.?

I just want to be able to download food off the internet. Print it off piping hot ready to eat. Wait...that is what the countdown is for.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

Sam has confirmed... they have a plan

even if the website can't handle all the traffic just for the fact that Sam is able to make such a great script, I can wait for the traffic to die down before I can play. I know i have not made many posts on the forums but I have been a fan of the teams work for a long time. Thanks Sam and the whole team for this. I cant wait to see how much this script has come along a year from now.

That's actually in development... 3d printer that makes food.

I fully anticipate a server overload due to real traffic and DDoS attacks, I also anticipate many of us YouTubers uploading a crazy amount of content from this. it will be great to see what has been done and what the community as a whole think of the first release.

I will re-iterate this once again, expect bugs and other problems. it is common for new modifications to have issues, the influx of posts that I just know will spam these forums may be like a hurricane, always do research on possible fixes before posting on the forums as many problems end up being the users fault, granted some are not.
