​Good, so that means all we have to wait on is the fixes for lspdfr and it should be done soon enough. As for everyone else, I have to say this, the update wasn't that bad of a hit on our beloved modding community. ScripthookV was fixed, ragehook was fixed, and that means all the scripted mods are fine. I don't know about LUA.dll or anything else like scripthookdotnet.dll but I think they really only work if the main scripthookV.asi or .dll  is working.

I'm asking more specifically for ragehook/lspdfr though

​Caps infested tirade? You have a curious definition of tirade and caps lock infestation. Perhaps my intentions were misunderstood, Sam. I was hoping to be funny with that post. I know you are basically God around here and perhaps I'm risking alot, but a tirade that was not, I'm sorry. I do not go on tirades. The day I go on a tirade is the day I am banned from this community and that is far from what I want to happen. I have been around for awhile, not the longest, but awhile, and usually I remain quiet, and with good reason. I'm not very good at expressing myself through text. I read and comprehend well, but this is why I stopped writing novels. I am just unable to clearly express my thoughts, ideas, and intentions using text only. I used a single line of caps stating "please do not ask for release dates" in an attempt to emphasize that point. Clearly, italics would have been the better choice. He was not asking how the patch affected development but rather for a release date.

My post was simply asking others to stop asking for a release date, and mentioned how much that it had been stated no release date would be given. As I mentioned, some attempt at humor was made. 

 

Interesting how that became a tirade. My apologies. Also, sadly, I believe this is really the first time we've conversed together, Sam. Not the impression I'd like to give you of my personality, but alas, lack of descriptive powers and knowledge of knowing when to stay quiet. I'll go back to lurking quietly. My YouTube channel is sort of my day job now, and LCPDFR has been a cornerstone of my channel and is what got me to where I am now. Along with myself, I know my subscribers are very much looking forward to seeing LSPDFR.

Have to admit though, it's hard to stay on topic with the lack of updates. If we got some common updates, no matter how undetailed, then we'd have more to discuss. Even something simple like "Everything went smoothly today" would work

I think so. It is just a guess but I think they won't add any new features in this stage of developement. But only Sam and LMS know that.

​If im not mistaken Sam pretty much said that it was supposed to be released already, but they found a few bugs/problems so they are probably fixing that atm.

How long did it take to code your custom pursuit AI? Did you have to change a lot, or just tweak a few things here and there?

Why is everyone bitching? The mod will be out when it comes out. Be glad you will get to play it! I wont! I wont have access to be able to until fall. Quit bitching and complaining and enjoy the fact not everyone is as fortunate as you are to get to play it, you are starting to sound like a bunch of selfish entitled little kids. Get over yourselves and stop bitching. Be glad Sam and G17 and LMS even are making all this possible for all of us to enjoy. Friggin whiny little brats.

We do need to get back to Lspdfr. Others have mentioned that it's almost finished. I'm shocked that in well under 24 hours everything broken related to the update was fixed! If only nations' gonvernments worked that way! There'd be no wars, ect. Astonishing work.  At this rate I'd take a hopeful guess of the mod being released this weekend if the above comments of lspdfr's development being finished and only bug fixing/stability remains are true.

 

Fingers crossed. Looking forward to more development news.

To those of you like myself who are waiting for more details on the development of LSPDFR, the best thing to do is wait. Sam himself posted "We will have more news to share about LSPDFR very shortly." earlier today.

 

It takes time to code, and test such a massive project, allow him and LMS the time that they need to make everything enjoyable for us all.

Anyways, LSPD:FR is the greatest thing to happen since LCPDFR, before that was, some dude making a wheel or something?
