Well, as far as I know, Sam already said that it is possible to use the lights only with LSPDFR (not sure if it'll be in the first version though).

As for the voices, didn't I also read that there were also available (for the player and AI)?

EDIT: Yeah, for the lights it'll be possible, not sure about the voices.

The same guy from GTAForums.

You can toggle all extra parts of any vehicle selected.

So I'm assuming this at least includes the spoiler that naturally spawns on the Buffalo cruiser, but will this enable us to throw the bumpers, spoilers, hoods, etc. on the Interceptor? I wouldn't mind rolling in an ultimate speed enforcement cruiser now and again.

We will probably be able to toggle and choose things like the spoiler on the buffalo, or the lightbars on any police vehicle. The push bar is part of the car model itself, so I don't think we could remove that. But Simple Native Trainer is coming out soon, so who knows what we'll be able to to with that.

Yeah, I figured the pushbar was a part of the model itself, I was talking about the actual front/rear bumper, side skirt, spoiler, and hood modifications that are available (through mods, anyway) for the Interceptor. It's like Rockstar made all the customizable parts for it like we could take it into LS Customs but decided not to include it for some reason. I'm sure these will be available extras with LSPDFR, was just curious to find out for sure. http://gta.wikia.com/Interceptor?file=Police-Interpector-front-save-editor-gtav.png This shows the spoiler, hood and front bumper. It's cool, the front bumper mod looks like it adds three additional vertical beams to the push bar.

Yet another suggestion.

I've probably made my fair share, or more of, suggestions, but here's another one that I want to quickly explain before I forget about it. Might the police van model be usable as a proper suspect transport? Some suspects can be aggressive, and you definitely don't want them in the back of your patrol car in that case. Therefore, might calling for suspect transport on arrest (if that's how LSPDFR will work) be able to send in a van instead, the officers get out, open the back doors of the van and get the suspect in the back? In fact, I think the back doors of the police van open, because it's the same model (technically) as another van that has opening doors in a mission.

Edit: In fact, it's even called "Police Transporter": http://gta.wikia.com/Police_Transporter

Ah'm orderin' you to STAHP!

It's very likely to happen either in the initial release or shortly after as we can re-use most of the controller code from LCPDFR.

Xbox One controller support or just Xbox 360 controller support?

I think they both use XInput so it should work on both of them (And PS3/4 controllers through a application that makes the game think it's a XInput controller)

Sam?

In LSPDFR is it so, that when you draw your gun the holster empties?
And when you put it away the gun will be in the holster again?

Thar'd be part of the ped model, so it might be hard to modify that.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

in the trainers you can have it already, there is a belt with and without a gun. I think it's a belt change option.
belt 1 has no gun
belt 2 has a gun.

try it in simple trainer.

Thank you for responding, i hope it will be an feature.

That's what I said, it's part of the ped model :P I'm not a developer, but I am not sure how this would work.

I'm obviously not talking about the initial release but are there any plans for bicycle cops and/ or K-9 units? GTA 5 has bikes and dogs.

Bike mounted cops should be possible without any modding (just get on a bike) but K-9 would need to be actively put in. Would love to see it eventually

Dunno about bikes... Way too slow to be fun. Would love to see dogs though

As someone that wants to start a serious clan, there is good possibilities for fun role-play with bikes as well. Part of good policing is community policing and just biking around, talking to people, keeping watch for anything odd, etc.

Yes, but put it in context. Is one beat cop on a BMX a match for uzi-waving Lost gangsters in an armored van? Don't get me wrong, bike police would be fun for park patrol, but it is a little bit impractical.

Well yeah, i def wouldn't put the bike police in a really bad area. haha

I guess there could be bike only callouts and whatnot, but that seems a little too much work. And you can always just spawn a bike and turn off callouts if need be

Well yes that's what i meant , obviously you wont go into car chases with a bike but you can do the stuff you would normally do on a foot patrol
