It wouldn't really be faster; Sam and LMS is a well oiled machine better left to their own devices rather than allow too much outside input :P

Like a computer in a way, not many input slots, lots of output slots!

  • A trailer showcasing animations doesn't make for very good viewing, especially not for a first reveal.  Was it a normal cop chase?  No, every entity involved in the pursuit except the player was spaw

Alittle off topic but....I was messing around with a trainer and spawned as a Black Ops ped with (Not the crappy one) the one that looks like black water "Beards, Baseball Caps, Droplegs and Plate Carriers" I dont think they fall in the "Law Enforcement" ped models persay but I think that would make a pretty good ped for a Narcotics raid team or like we have where i live VCTF "Violent Crimes Task Force" comprised of detectives that mainly respond to...well....violent crimes. Just a thought and wasnt sure if the relationships would jive or not.

This is a great idea and it also makes me wonder, since gta v has a bigger focus on law enforcement than gta iv did, should there be an option where, for example, if im an lspd officer responding to a man with a knife and i need support. can i call a bunch of high ranking officers in a police transporter as backup versus noose? the idea of being able to play as and call backup for specific units designed for specific calls would really make the mod 1000 times better. but the million dollar question is, is it all possible?

May I ask how you or whoever got those cops to have flashlights on their guns?

I think it's because it was nighttime. No flashlights were on the pistols in the GIF below, and that happened during daytime

I don't have that mod installed :P

oh cool...cross carry though..blehhh

Oh really?

I sure hope that LSPDFR will be way more sophisticated than police mod 1.0c orSAPDRR which they now apparently stopped developing. By all means dehan did great with what he had but it's still so buggy lol.

The first release of LSPDFR will probably be buggy. By the looks of it, LSPDFR has more content than any other GTA 5 mod out there right now. With so much stuff, there will most likely be bugs. There aren't a lot of mods that don't have bugs. But LSPDFR will probably be may more stable than that police mod

Sam did say it was really stable compared to LCPDFR and had no crashes so the first release may be a solid one with the basics like callouts, pursuits and traffic stops. Although I would rather have a bugless playable mod than one with loads of bugs.

Make a mod for cop car's spotlights.... Hold a "KEY" and move the spot light with your mouse... should add a dot right in the middle so makes it easier to aim the spotlight

also the Charger doesn't have any spotlights

But how would this work when the required tools to make/ convert car models become available, would there be a setting with values to where the spotlight will spawn, or are you thinking of taking control of the current spotlight on police vehicles?

Spotlights? Slow down a bit. Wait for the first public release of LSPDFR. Than you can think about things like spotlights. What are you expect from the first release? It will not the same huge thing like LCPDFR. It's only 2 month after the release of the PC-version .

Lol yeah. Sure not expecting too much fo the first release but we all kow it's going to be 3x better than any police mod released currently. Not downing dehan or Palm Beach Gaming but nothing is as good as LSPDFR.

Impressive. Just shows that is was 10% developer problem and 90% game problem with GTA IV. People had trouble with actual legit CD copies of the game. GTA V being like 90% more stable proves that it's not the mod, but the game that really counts because that's what is holding the mod up.

A spotlight mod (for choppers at least) already exists, just use that until the team looks at it, probably later on:

There should be an evacuate area option that makes all Civs in the area leave and bans anyone from coming unless you say it is safe to come back.
