I never really understood why Rockstar attempted to disable modding on a game like GTA V on the PC. I mean the graphics look good and all but the main reason we bought this for a big price is because of the need to customize the game to what we desire. Most of us have already played the game previously, can't they take a hint that mods are very important and their pc releases cannot be released without support. I believe that once you've bought a game, you are free to do whatever you want with it without ruining other peoples experiences while doing it (Like hacking). I guess even if we give them everything they want like waiting since 2013 and even making us pay full price for a 2 year old game still forces them to disable the one thing we've been waiting for. Do you guys care about the wait of decrypting the .rpf files?

Because then people can spawn in things like cars and money instead of buying shark cards to get them, therefore Rockstar lose money.

But people can do that even without mod support.

It's the way it's always been, and the way it'll always be. They've never handed us the files on a silver platter, we've always had to work to get to them.

Exactly, this. It's to prevent people from gaining an unfair advantage on GTA Online.

Errr... No they can't. At least not yet.

Apparently they can, I've heard rumors already that many have already started asking for money for them to cheat in money somehow for the pc.

Technically this isn't true. You don't "buy" the game, you buy a license to use the game. Rockstar still owns the game and can control it however they like.

This. I'm not renting the game, I'm buying it.

Just like I'm not renting my car or my laptop. I bought them and they're mine.

Yeah, and you can enjoy your insta-ban with that too.

I merely was told about that and dont know if its entirely true, all your doing is acting like a smart ass for no specific reason.

That's what Rockstar claims. Whether it's true or not depends on local law; an EULA does not trump the laws of a country.

Im really interesting to see what Rockstar is gonna do with all this.this. I`ve been using a trainer in my SP and i just found out it works in Online as well.I can run around the city with never wanted and invincibility.Which rather ruins the integrity of their online servers. Which is something they push to sell the game. I was not able to spawn money but still with invincibility money will just happen.BTW i only went on to see if it works im not on there tearing the masses to pieces because i can make GTA my B/&%h.

I doubt it, money is more than likely stored on the server. Unless you directly access the server, you won't be able to change it.

You could potentially command the game to send "gimme money" updates to the server. Of course, Rockstar could respond by noticing people who accumulate money suspiciously and banning them, which is how most online games deal with that sort of thing.
