​Doubt that the whole script would be ported but I'm pretty sure that a script allowing more control over the lights in V is well due and probably will happen.

Would it be possible to somehow make the military 'barracks' replaced with the DLC armoured car 'Insergent' ?? i think that would be cool :) (the insergent is sadly only a online version)

On an approximate time scale, how long before real vehicle mods can be brought into GTA V? I read on some Facebook group that it's going to be another 6 months before the Open IV is updated to allow vehicle modifications, and also I'm interested to know how long it'll take to convert the IV models into V. Is there any truth to "at least 6 months"?

How long it takes to access models with OpenIV depends entirely on the skill/luck of the OpenIV developers. After that happens, a plugin for zmodeler would still need to be made to support V modding, then we could probably see basic car mods (ie: templated police vehicles with different in game lightbars). Vehicle conversions can take a few weeks, but those ones don't usually turn out good.

 

Remember that it took 6 months with GTA IV before any model edits even came out, and another month after that before the first car mods.

So all the cars will have to be remade for GTA V? Well, as long as we have higher quality vehicles I'm not fussed. The way it was presented to me on FB made it sound like one guy alone was responsible for Open IV and he couldn't be bothered to work on it for 6 months. Thanks for clarifying 

What all i can say, I think we should make a new movie about LSPD like movie end of watch, make a first scenes inside the police station in mission row, briefing, inside captain's office, and jail cells and more, then make a action scenes in all areas within los santos.

and my another statement, I'm send to rockstar games a message that includes LAPD and military hairstyles for both genders, and new cars includes police cars like chevy impala 1996 and 2006, and 1985 ford LTD crown vic, and 2013 ford police interceptor utility.
