LSPDFR General Discussion

AFAIK, cars don't patrol.

I find that hard to believe since that was so in GTA IV (except for traffic stops, apart from that one in that spawns in Algonquin).

You don't find police cars driving around at all in V?

I've seen LSPD patroling

  • Why would you want an ELS system when there is already one in place? Looks fine to me.

  • Why don't you guys want ELS?

Well, if I must state some things I want. Just 2 things.   1) No ELS what-so-ever 2) A riot mod (re-enact the best day in history)

Meh, I only would like to see a few of these at "LSPD:FR" or how ever this mod will be called. I suggest that the development hasn't even started yet,

but I'd like to see this:

- Riots (Necessary)

- Robberies (Bankrobberies, Shoprobberies; Necessary; (not only Outside of Buildings but also Inside of the possible ones where you can go in))

- F.I.B call outs (For violent robberies and shoot-outs;Necessary)

- Different Policestations (Inside of buildings;Necessary)

- And all of the GTA IV call-outs, atleast most of them. (Most likely Necessary)

My opinions.

I want that as well, those ideas are awesome!

I want k-9 units

So do I, hopefully they will work better on GTA 5 than GTA 4 (provided of course they are made)

Only day one mods we'll see is carmageddon and shit like that. Trainer will probably be out in the coming months, car mods next year maybe and advanced scripts in maybe half a year.

I can't wait for all the major mods to start rolling out. I bet they will all come out about the same time (personal hunch). Trainer will be the first major one followed by car/physics mods, and then LSPDFR.

I just hope there will be a LSPDFR for gta v. It will be a major disappointment if there isnt. Devs i hope your reading this!!!. Please make it happen.

I don't think a riot call out is a realistic one as a common call out and would be hard to implement as to what to do. Realistically it would be a non shoot scenarios with crowd control that would be pointless in game.

A realistic daily call out would involve burglaries (breaking and entering), robberies, thefts, stolen vehicles, pursuits in progress, carjackings, home invasions, car crashes (which may be pointless, but could implement citizen contacts that result in tickets or searches), drunk driver calls, domestics, fights, escaped prisoners/warrant service,  suspicious people/vehicles, prostitution, drug offenses etc.

It would be also nice to see different levels of resisting suspects. From compliance, to runnings away, to hand fighting, to weapon shootouts. The more desperate suspects may also attempt to carjack inncocent drivers if on foot, to get away, but not all the time.

I say the riots for more of a historical factor. Maybe as a mod itself.

I'm very sure the developers are working hard to find out if it is possible to make one. They have already announced their interest in doing so via Twitter: https://twitter.com/LCPDFR/status/588356525950799872

Ok Since Gta 5 On Pc Is released in 2 days and 6 hours i wanted to get a heads up

Honestly what do you want to see in LSPDFR here's what i want

1.Best Scripts From LCPDFR Converted Into LSPDFR

2.Built In ELS System

3.~ Menu From Lcpdfr On Code Revealer Witch you can do /heal /fix /clean /kill'

4. Shootout Callout , Officer Down Callout , Building Fire Callout.

If i add something what with fire and ems much better units workable fire and ems callouts a script to make the engine and hoses workable and actually put out fires etc. but much more paramedic callouts along with all the police stuff!!!!!

Somethings i'd like to see for LSPDFR is :

1.) MVA's calls (And you can have certain roles to do at the accident)

2.) Another Traffic stop assistance or (BackUp) Script

3.) Some Crown Vics, Tahoes, and Chargers (Get rid of the cheesy mock-up versions of those)

i like these too

I totally agree with you on this one

I want practically all of these but with the ELS I would like basic options primary lights only secondary only both together and directional lights and for sirens allow to have with or without lights but leave otherwise as is especially for console controllers hold one button to change tones leave the default sirens as is! Reason I say this is the more f'ing about you do to the coding the more unstable the game becomes and none of us I think we would agree want to have constant crashes every ten to thirty mins!!!!!!

If possible I think some key points missed so far are:

1: have the NPC cops arrest other NPC's rather than just shooting them. (why R* took that out when they had it for 4 I don't know) As any cops around you will just shoot anyone you try to arrest

2: the NPC cops occasionally drag injured officers to safety, enable the player to do this

3: as a few others have mentioned have a officer down/assistance call so you can use point two!

4: on the police bike change one of the front lights to a blue....its been bugging me, every other vehicle has red and blue lights, as does the rest of the police bike except the front two lights!

those are my ideas but I like the idea of more callouts to robbery's/heists and a lot of the content from bravehart eg ANPR in cars and doing person checks over your radio so you don't always have to go back to your car and can also check pedestrians.

Well while we're throwing out suggestions....

I'd like the backup that I call to work something like this,

Options for either "Backup" or "Pursuit Backup".

When I call for backup, they (the two Officers that arrive in their vehicle) automatically join my squad/group and will follow me around until I "Dismiss Backup". I always wanted this in GTA IV (and we sort of got this) for certain callouts such as "Burglary/Tresspassing, possible Shooting" etc. This way I can bring them with me instead of them driving away while I'm searching for the suspect.

When I call for pursuit backup, they work in a similar fashion to IV's backup in the sense that they search for the nearest criminal and begin pursuing them.

Just my thoughts :)

Added last line to "When I call for backup" paragraph.

I would like to see a dispatch system. Having synchronized calls would be a nice touch and if a person wanted to be a dispatcher it would be available to them. Since V doesn't have a computer screen vanilla,  it would be an available asset to new clans. Being able to turn it on and off is a must however in case the man power doesn't show up for the patol. I see it as a reverse DAS system. Instead of pulling coords of other officers, sending coords. Of the call to them. It would be terrible to code though :(

I do hope LMS/Sam are looking at these suggestions. there are some pretty good things listed in here, some of these would be great!

Why are there some people not wanting the original ELS system?

Because people who like to stay vintage with old vintage police cars and default lights don't like the fancyness of ELS. in their eyes what we have is enough. ELS would be great and I would hope that an official version is released far before any LSPDFR, or atleast something similar with it's release.

This. The backup could be vastly improved, but with V's AI i'm not sure what's different from IV, better or worse. But that's for the modding team to figure out :P

i would like to see braveheart's breathalyzer and his ANPR + radar built in or something similar

It's too bad braveheart doesn't come here anymore. Last time his policing script was updated was ages ago, pretty sure he just does stuff for his private clan nowadays =/

Oh and as another suggestion: I hope to god the ambluance is fixable/working. As for in IV, they drive like retards. in V, it might be actually usable to get downed suspects taken care of. If an LSPDFR is released it's going to be a little weird at first without anything that already exists, for example all the vdH mods (Of which the developer is gone, so those are gone for good and are bound to GTA IV). Those would of been great. I want someone to at-least make a coroner mod, or a working ambulance implemented within LSPDFR. The dream ;_;

Why are there some people not wanting the original ELS system?

Probably because the stability is never guaranteed, but that was par for the course with IV. It still seems that constantly enabling and disabling of vehicle parts would be something the engine was never really meant to handle.
