Are you using the GTAV no launcher method on a Steam version? or Rockstar version? The NO GTA Launcher supposed to launch the regular launcher, thats ok. For RPH to work, you need to manually launch RPH as soon as you launch the No GTAV launcher. And if you use the NO GTAV Launcher method, you don't need to be Offline, the NO GTAV launcher bypasses the online check for updates. I am noticing a lot of people who are confused about how to play the game using their favorite mods during these stormy days so ill chip in my fix for the issue. Just follow these steps and i'm sure you will be up in no time, until Scripthook is updated and by then we can safely upgrade. *I'm pretty sure its against the rules to upload files in here so i wont. a quick google search will get you the versions you need. No Launcher Method: 1. Downgrade GTAV to 1032. 2. Downgrade RPH to 0.52 3. Find "GameBackups.rph" in the root folder and rename it to Something else so RPH won't find it. 4. Don't let RPH backup the current version, there's no need, just skip the request. 5. Download this 6. Launch "No GTAV Launcher" and immediately after, launch RPH as admin and click on "Continue without updating", it will automatically hook up to the current game window. Original Launcher Method: Follow steps 1-3. 4. Disconnect your network. 5. Launch RPH as admin and don't let it backup the current version, there's no need, just skip the request. 6. click on "Offline Mode" in the Social Club window that pops up. That's pretty much it, it works perfectly for me and using the latest Scripthook. Good luck.

NM, i deleted update folder and x64e.rpf and let steam do the work.

Hey guys. I have all my mods installed on the main GTAV directory and i realise now that the Mods folder approach will be safer in future updates. the question is how can i relocate all of the mods to the mods folder and what do i move exactly? Do i need to re-verify game files with steam after that?

So its true, R* started banning players for online mods, most of the ban reports are due to money hacks, other reported that they got a mail stating they should steer clear of FOV mods. In case you do got a ban, on SP when exiting the house in each character, there's a 5 seconds message above the minimap which tells you when the ban is lifted: so this is a warning thread, stay away from money hacks or any other online mod, the eye is watchful

Well its hardly a police mod, this just a simple car/ped spawner. no real action in there unless you want to block the street with cones lol

I think your setback is the graphics card. i doubt it will run @ high settings. If you can afford it, the GTX 970/80 will be the way to go for ultra settings.

Seeing as OpenIV can already open the files and soon write to them, we should see vehicle mods very very soon, i admit i never thought it would be that fast! I just really hope modders will respect the online community and restrict mods to offline only.

Np! i would suggest to bring more buck to the deal and get the 970. its worth every penny. but do a google search if the game can acctualy run on Onboard graphics.

if you could run it on lowest settings, i bielieve it will run better. i have a i7 and GTX 970 and IV dose not run as it should sometimes. IV was a very poor port, V was developed for PC from the get go, i wouldnt be surprised if it work better for ya, again, IF you could run it.

I highly doubt you can run it, maybe on lowest settings, that's if the game dose not have a on-board graphics restriction. You need to upgrade your CPU and get a proper GPU :(.

Maybe he realised he cant reach the core files or maybe they actualy implemented a preventive code for modding that will make it tougher. im not under any illusion that modding is an instant process, i am a developer myself and know how long it takes. i was just wondering if G17 media agrees with it.

Hey guys. I installed 8.5 today and usually i use my mouse secondaries to turn the lights on. In els 8 i used the "02" key code for the button, now it seems that the secondaries wont work no matter what key code i enter in the .ini file. I tried 002 and 02 and 2, only the middle mouse button works if i set it to horn. Toggle_SRN = 02 // G by default Is this a bug in 8.5 or am i missing something? Thank you for your time.
