CSI: Cyber

Featured Replies

The last episode I saw of CSI was the pilot of CSI:CYBER. Is this on in the US yet? If it is what do you think about it? It starts in the new year for tbe UK, and looks like CSI but follows computerized based crimes, I imagine like hacking, fraud, scams and such.

I'm heard some very interesting things about it. I'll have to watch the first episode and see if this is for me. I like the whole CSI series itself but my biggest question how are they going to pull this off? CSI and Computer hacking?...This should be good.

CSI Cyber comes out next year, with the pilot being from CSI Las Vegas (Season 14 episode Kitty) and the second episode is again from CSI Las Vegas based around the Season 15 case the gig harbour Killer.

CSI has always been about the Forensics, the murder or humans and other "physical" crimes, so taking CSI to the technology side is really different and i'm interested to see where it goes. I have always loved CSI, to the point where i'm now studying to be a Criminalist and not a cop (although CSI is not like the real life Forensic job, but the concept is the same).

The biggest difference with CSI Cyber is that the "CSI" team are part of the FBI, and not Criminalists or police officers, so judging by that i'm guessing it will have the Criminal Minds feel to it rather than the traditional CSI feel like Miami and New York had.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

The Science of Crime! It's forensically boring.

This one might be, didn't seem that great from the pilot. I might stick with the Vegas one though. I prefer seeing them investigate physical crimes.

Harbour Killer

I look forward to it in January.

CSI Season 15 and CSI Cyber both start in January in the UK.

So has anyone here ever heard of this show, it basically a show where a team of FBI agents track down criminals who commit crime on the internet and online and arrest them in real life, I would like to know your opinion on it.

Damn it reply thing! Removing my message. I'll have my revenge Eye Pee Bee.

If I'm on a free or in Media (AKA Free) in school I'll watch it if I have nothing to be doing, it's not something I am really in to. It's too boring, its like they've taken all the other CSI's and made it so the crimes can only be solved by using Computer related stuff, so they should of really kept airing CSI New York it was a lot more entertaining than this CSI Cyber.

I'll give it to them, they've made sure they are accurate when it comes to hacking and all the code which are displayed on the screens which is always a plus because all other movies and films just go fully un-realistic and just chat garbage. So they get a good mark from me for that, but how are they going to keep the show going, it's gonna end up having these constant episodes which are near identical to others.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

I honestly liked the latest episode. It was fun and entertaining but IMO since CSI NY got canceled..CSI Vegas and now Cyber are just general cop shows now with a little CSI work here and there.

I never liked the C.S.I. shows. I did however watch 2 episodes of this new one, and as i assumed, I didn't like it. Seems to me like all the cop shows out there have the same kind of stuff. It's always following some C.S.I, F.B.I, detective play style. I find much more enjoyment with the classic shows. Such as; Adam-12, CHiPs, or T.J. Hooker. I guess you could also add Cops in there too. Maybe I like it because it's a lot more casual, or it could be just because of the classic police cars they use that I love. Shows like C.S.I. just seem to be too much. There always has to be some big plot to what's going on and usually it's something I've already seen so it gets boring. I remember one episode of CHiPs where these guys dressed as Cal Trans workers to steal plants from the side of the highway. Even that was entertaining.
