@Harper: I thought they were just for "showing off" purposes? Don't get me wrong but Germany's 911 Carrera and Britain's LP640 police cars were just 'one of a kinds' and were not meant to be used by the "force".I had a Belgian friend and their police force used Q7 and Lambos as well and he said that they too were just for "show off".

From what I understand European ambulances don't drive quickly anyway. They drive really slow because they supposedly have more equipment inside than the US ones do. There was a lot of controversy over Princess Diana's death because some people claim if she had been in the U.S. and one of our ambulances with less equipment built-in rushed her to a hospital where they have better surgeons and doctors, she would have lived. I suppose that's all up to speculation though.

This is one of the most used ambulance types in Norway:

It have definitively less gear and equipment than a standard american ambulance.

And its much quicker and has excellent maneuverability.

But that's just Norway (and Sweden). Don't know how the frenchies handle their ambulance business.

I don't mind you guys taking this discussion here. I'll leave it up to the mods.

Need help!

Hello guys.

I hate to ask for help, but I'm totally stuck right now and I see no other options.

I have a problem with the VW Passat model that I've been working on. The model looks fine in ZModeler and OpenIV 3D-view and imports with SparkIV without any problems.

But when I try it in-game it looks like shit. (Excuse my language.) Several parts are missing and colourfull things "fly" out everywhere.

I've had this problem before, with my Scania fire engine, but I found out that it was a texture problem and I compressed the dds-files wrong. I got that fixed and the model worked just fine. But I don't think that's the problem this time. I've converted all the dds-files as I'm supposed to to.

I've been practicing my SA to IV converting skills, so I decided to convert a SA Sea King to IV.

Gonna try to make it as close as the Norwegian Westland Sea King S&R helicopters as possible, so there's still alot of work to be done.

Don't know if anyone else will be interested in it, but atleast it's good practice for me. ;)
