Missing feature, or bug.

Featured Replies

When I pull over a vehicle, I just walk straight to the driver and asks him questions, you all know that. But I think you should be able to search the trunk of the car, and if you find any drugs or a weapon etc.. You can take the suspect in. But I can't search the trunk during the pull over process, even if the driver steps out of the car, it still doesn't happen anything when I press E to search the trunk.

Is it a missing feature or just a bug?

The Trunk search option is still very buggy, keep in mind that the current 0.95 releases are "work in progress" releases, meaning there will be a bugs.

It wasn't the intentions of the development team to do those releases in the first place, but one of the tester couldn't live up to his responsibility, and leaked a copy and a guide to circumventing the security measures taken, the team then decided to release an official version.

Just refrain from searching trunks for the time being.

You also shouldn't be searching the car with someone in it. Get them out.

In america you cannot search a vehicle randomly for whatever reason you very well please as a police officer. A person could be speeding like a maniac but if you don't have probable cause or RAS you have no right to search the person or their vehicle. Now you could roleplay like you smell alcohol on their breath or smell marijuana in the vehicle take them out. Hold them, frisk them, search the car, and depending what happens arrest them.

basically being able to search a vehicle with someone in the car I think is not needed. Now I think it would be cool if the suspect would get back in the vehicle instead of walking away after a frisk leaving a random vehicle on the road.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

Agreed, but there are plenty of little realism issues like that the dev team is aware of. G17 Media simply has to try and balance out the load of glitches, realism and new feature implementation in each patch. They are listening though, I guarantee you that.

I meant if you just check the vehicles coming out from the airport for example, just for checking for drugs, weapons or anything that could be a danger of national security.

We all know that Liberty City are very afraid of terrorists.

That's the Transit Authority's job. A police officer patrols the streets.
