Lol, what? What kind of close minded bullshit is this? I'm currently working in healthcare and a senior in nursing school...and I watch cartoons whenever I damn well please with no shame. Do explain how this makes me "immature." I'd love to hear your explanation because ironically, you are the one who is acting immature here.

So what about Adult cartoons? I don't like Anime but i happen to Like cartoons like Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, etc. I'm immature for that even though the Jokes in these Cartoons are specifically for Mature Audiences? I Don't get it. 

 

 

I honestly couldn't give two shits, its not my cup of tea but I'm not going to call someone immature or any other sort of name because they like something i don't. And i don't understand why you are saying things like this, how does someone watching Anime affect how you live at any certain point in time or impede on what you enjoy at any certain point in time. This is completely ridiculous. Some people like anime, some people like meatballs and some like to role-play as a cop in a pretty outdated crash-happy game. It's okay to have an opinion, but there is no need to act snide or try to force it down anyones throat. 

 

I've watched a few animes, thanks to the recommendation of Illusionary. It's not the best thing I've ever watched, but it certainly isn't the worst.

Yeah, well, many people in my country sincerely believe that computer games are for children, and some believe that Internet is mainly for kids too. Have to say they consider anime as a symptom of a mental illness. So I can understand the topic starter position.

Guess I'm a 47 year old immature, absurd fart then.  Two of my most favorite anime are Ghost in the shell and the movie ( Kaze no Tani no Naushika)  Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.  While I don't really care for any others there are many things I find rather corny but other people enjoy.  One of the great things about humans is the differences we all have, makes life a little more interesting.  If we were all mirrors of each other there would really be no reason to even talk with another person.  Enjoyment comes in many forms but it seems to me that the OP gets enjoyment out of getting others riled up ( just an observation from the posts I noticed but I could be wrong).  To me that's sad but it's still different.  Don't take life so serious and you'll enjoy it much more.

 

There is another show that I watch which is Korean and I find it highly entertaining.  The show is called Running Man and I use to watch it on justin.tv ( which is now gone ).and before that it was another Korean show called Family Outing.  Most people that I've shown it to don't care for them and think they're senseless but I honestly can't stand American shows.  Another show I like to watch is BBC Top Gear.  I hate cars and don't even own one anymore but I love how the hosts entertain and also appreciate the cinematography.  I love dance and watch YAKfilms on Youtube, not only for the dance but also for the cinematography.
