Possible to turn off pursuits?

Featured Replies

IMO I find pursuits in New York City kinda unrealistic. New York has such a load of traffic it's never possible to have a pursuit, nor attempt one. So I was wondering, is it possible to edit somewhere in the LCPDFR files that there will no longer be random pursuits, nor fleeing suspects during a pull over?

Thanks in advance,

-Jordy

From what I see, I think it's a no. I try to look at the FirstRespone file with all the controls, and I couldn't find nothing to put it as a 0 or False.....but I did found a Section that was

MaxNumberOfWorldEvents = 2...in the FirstResponse File.....you can try that...maybe it will change some things....

I did found a Section that was MaxNumberOfWorldEvents = 2, so I don't know if that's the one to edit to 0 or not....You can try that I Guess, but from how I see it, I don't think there would be a disable button for that...

Thats just for the random world events like the police officer in a foot pursuit. Has nothing to do with traffic stop pursuits, they are generated randomly at any point during a stop.

It's Liberty City, not NY, there is about 100x less traffic in LC, I don't see how pursuits aren't plausible?

LC is based on NY, and Traffic Load helps raising the traffic. I just like to make it more look like NY, that's all...

This proves that everyone has their own tastes...don't like pursuits....holy crap.

Also if you actually play your GTA game with a realistic bumper to bumper amount of cars how the heck do you manage that??? Plus how do you survive will GTA crappy drivers! lol

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

There are plenty of chases in New York City. Everyone always thinks the entire state is bumper to bumper traffic. The only place that's really like that is the area around Times Square, and even still it's not like that 24/7.
