One of my Neighboring county's got good news today, as the Baltimore County Police Department say they Thwarted a potentially tragic school shooting Situation... this most likely wont make national news so i just wanted to spread the good news of great police work

Here are 2 Different Links one just a regular Article and another Article with audio from BCoPD PIO Elise Armacost talking about this story

I'm sure most of us who are from Maryland are very happy to hear this news like i am especially after the Perry Hall High School shooting in Baltimore County only 2 years ago.. and Judging from what they said this kid had in his possession this could have been much worse.

Funny enough, when Police help prevent a terrible tragedy it isn't reported as a big deal; Yet when Police do something wrong, it makes national headlines. I would have known, because I live just on the outskirts of Baltimore City.

Great Police work, glad no one got hurt.

Ain't that the truth! Shame we live in such a world as that.

Great to hear of some good work and even better a possible disaster will not occur.

As a person who spent several months in B-More I really feel great for that. Excellent job officers! BTW, I never doubted county cops professionalism since I met some of them in person and that was a great experience :D

It is definitely sad to here about all the school shootings but it is good that the police have handled it in a good way

The media only care about the big news with lots of action, and of course a good story.

I have seen it many times at press conferences involving major events. Reporters always ask the "Questions", even though at the beginning of the press conference, "we can not answer on any details about the investigation at this time". I always hear this and constantly Q's being "red-lined", "as I've said again, we can't comment at this time".

Reporters can be very pushy to get an answer.

thats good still bugs me about that 13 year old in washington over some girl from what i heard though:(

I know I heard that too they're still talking about. Today were the students first day back in class since then.

Unfortunately this is reality today and it'll never stop changing, We'll just have to be strong and face it.
