  • Didn't know them, but when somebody is apart of the The Thin Blue line..its a brother/sister.....I kinda sat there today thinking about them and how sad it was, this was a place i used to call home.

  • RIP. Their sacrifice will not soon be forgotten.

  • Some people are saying 3 some are saying 2 i can't find out which is the real one...        Damn! Stay safe!

Poor deputies, it's always sad when you hear a cop die, knowing he/she puts their life on the line everyday so that we can have safety. RIP

The 3rd officer who was injured died of his wounds...Very sad!!! R.I.P Brother!

In reference to the earlier post about the Sacramento and Placer County deputies being shot. One of the injured Placer County deputies, Detective Michael David Davis Jr, has also succumbed to his wounds. In a cruel twist of fate, Michael’s father, Michael David Davis Sr., was a Riverside County deputy sheriff, and he was killed in the line of duty on Oct. 24, 1988—exactly 26 years ago today. Rest easy brother. You earned it. We have the watch from here.

Yet another fading of the thin blue line. R.I.P and I feel really bad for the deputies mother, who not only lost her husband 26 years ago, but her son too - In the same line of work.

Yeah....Its very sad  Aleast the gunnman is in Jail.

It's a sad reality that sometimes officers need to put the thin blue line on there badge; that the band has to play amazing grace; wives need a folded flag to be given to them; or families and friends lose a loved one. Police officers risk there lives every single day, we can never learn to tolerate it because when we lose a brother/sister it hits home. I can't imagine what their families are going through. Those officers are lost but not forgotten. Rest in peace.

Yeah...It breaks my heart...but they will always be in my heart!

As a law enforcement officer in Ohio, I never expect to come home to my family after each shift.  I have been shot at in the line of duty, and I can tell you that it is the worst experience ever.   RIP brothers.  You are gone but you will never be forgotten.

Damn! Stay safe!

There will be a lot more deaths to come in the future due to the death threats issued by ISIS, and are responsible for a lot of the deaths occurring. Hell, they're telling us not to wear our uniforms off duty since Soldiers/LEs or anyone in uniform is being targeted.
