Do you live in a safe place?

Where I live, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita was rated safest city in California and 5th safest city in the United States of this year. Here's a basic rundown of the city:

If you ignore the police helicopter and the sirens in the distance, yes, I'd say I live in a safe place.

I live in one of the most isolated cities in the world, and yeah, it's pretty safe here. Worst thing I fear is spiders.

lucky you, I live in my city's second worst neighborhood. Here we have all sorts of evil doers, ppl steal bikes, destroy bikes, generally vandalize bikes and do everything you can imagine to bikes. One day I saw two people switching their car's plates!

Also some time ago, someone stole the 1st floor button from the elevator.

Our apartment block has a public sauna for the residents, and once there was shit on the floor.

The police are called to here at least once every night (that is somewhat lot for one street around here).

Also my neighbors are not the nicest type, there is one alcoholic woman who yells at her boyfriend in middle of the night, then there is a somewhat weird community of  community of young estranged people who slam their door like hell, also in middle of the night. Few days ago, at 1am, there was a young girl screaming "WHERE THE FUdge IS MY BAG!?!" and she banged the weird community's door like never before. Finally, she got in, but did not stop the screaming. This went on for at least an hour. I find it difficult to wake up at 7am if people are making huge noises and yelling at each other from midnight to the morning.

And hey, there is a neighborhood worse than mine! Sometimes it is hard for me to understand.

not even bad for wireless connection

My town's been top 50 in safest cities in NY for like 15 or 20 years and made top 5 in the US a couple of times back in the 2000s. Larceny is killing us though. We have a lot of shopping areas including the 8th largest mall in America. We got people stealing from the mall and breaking into cars and s***. And a developing heroin "problem"(not as bad as Baltimore or other places)

Yes, it's pretty safe in my area. I used to live in a pretty crappy neighborhood with a "high" crime rate (a while ago). The area which I currently reside in, has multiple popular roads and a lot of vehicles driving by, as well as a few businesses. The police response is 1-3 minutes (5 tops) and there are a lot of officers patrolling the streets. There are a few major crimes every once in a while and the rest are minor/standard calls. The EMS/Fire response is fairly quick as well.

It's a pretty nice place IMO.

Germany is in general relatively safe.

Sure we have some more problematic spots but there are no ghettos or slums .

I would say my town is pretty safe...except we have idiot high schoolers who do stupid things at night...I would say the biggest threat to my town would be the democrats

I live in southern Vermont, not a lot of violent crime around here but what we lack in violence we make up for in heroin. Maybe we were overtaken but the last time i looked VT was rated #1 for heroin traffic in the United States. Despite that i still feel that VT is a very safe place to live.

I think Toronto is pretty safe. Every city has its slums, in fact, I live right on front of a subsidized housing zone, yet I feel pretty safe.

I don't live far off from Toronto. I'd like to think Canada is a pretty safe country in general, but there are big cities where I'm sure sketchy stuff goes down.

In my small town of ~20,000 people, it's pretty safe. I've never fired a gun in my life, and I've never seen one unless it was on the hip of an officer or another individual of authority.
