Just an idea, couldn't you find a quad cab Ford F-150/F-250 and put a cap on the bed? Assuming there's such an unlocked model, of course.

No problem! Yeah, I gotta get a new mic myself. When I compare my vids to people with high quality mics it makes me sadface. I make do with what I got, though. On another note, EMS patrol is up! Let me know what you guys think of that. I'm not a huge fan of gangrenn's mod, it seems pretty weird, so I'm rolling with BraveHeart's FDLC script. Also, I have a 30 minute GRID: Autsport video up as well if anybody's interested in that. It took a lot of concentration to do an endurance race and commentate at the same time!

I don't really like it. it's the mic on the Skullcandy PLYR 1 headset. I have to do a fair bit of editing to make it sound decent. The headset itself is awesome, the microphone, not so much.

1.0c is perfectly acceptable in it's multiplayer stability, you just have to know what features to use. Disable callouts, use Bravehearts policing script. Do NOT use the LCPDFR 1.0 built in ANPR. Use Braveheart's Plate reader and speed radar. Use low poly, tried and tested vehicles and minimize your script usage. It takes a lot of trial and error but my group is producing a multiplayer pack that is very promising, and sessions are lasting upwards of an hour or more before crashing or requiring a restart.

YES! This model is gorgeous and I would totally use it. The big question, is the model locked?

You need to change the "Game name" in the vehicles.ide eg. pstockade, pstockade, car, STOCKADE, PSTOCK pstockade, pstockade, car, (handling), (game name) So if you want your pstockade to sound and act like a crown vic, go for pstockade, pstockade, car, POLICE, POLICE, if you want it to sound/handle like an SUV, try pstockade, pstockade, car, POLPAT, POLPAT,

I don't live far off from Toronto. I'd like to think Canada is a pretty safe country in general, but there are big cities where I'm sure sketchy stuff goes down. In my small town of ~20,000 people, it's pretty safe. I've never fired a gun in my life, and I've never seen one unless it was on the hip of an officer or another individual of authority.

Interesting yet not surprising set of responses from you guys. If I may play the devils advocate here, I'll attempt to side with him due to a couple small points. Impersonation. I'm sure you guys have heard about the incidents where people have been pulled over by unmarked "officers" who weren't officers at all. Then there's the flip side, if I go grab a retired CVPI, that "screams police vehicle" what with the ram bar, steel wheels and spotlight, should that be acceptable in the eyes of the public? It seems we have built up a bit of a grey area, where civilians and officers alike can drive almost identical looking vehicles, and some are taking advantage of it.

What do you guys think of this? I didn't really check the sources, is this legitimate? What would you have done?
