Medical Question - Nothing weird lol

Featured Replies

Ok, so i doubt many of you are doctors, if any....

So that's why i'm asking this (Doctors in FL suck)

Ok so, about 11-13 months ago i was walking near my pool and the pool guy forgot to secure the cap on the filter thing to the side of the pool....

I Walked over it and my foot fell inside the filter, i then fell forward and nearly broke my leg..
Thank God i caught myself, But i did get a pretty huge bruise along with something worse....

The thing that is worse, is i got a huge dent in my shin... I Thought i snapped it.
So i went to the doctor and they did an "X-ray."

They claimed it was nothing at all, and that there were no fractures or torn muscles.

If it's not one of those what could this huge dent in my shin be?
(It is pretty deep, i can push my finger nearly half an inch deep! How could this be nothing?!?!)

There is no pain at all, just the dent :/

You really should get to a doctor and ask again what it could be. You also really shouldn't be taking medical advice from the internet. Get to a doctor, they can help you.

But as i said...

They already had an xray done.... It showed nothing... How is that possible? lol

I Wouldn't normally go to the internet but doctors are so terrible in Florida (Obviously, or else i would know what it is already, lol)

Idk, it's weird how nothing showed.

But i go to the doctor for a check up tomorrow so i will ask once again.

(I Bet you a pony they will say nothing is wrong.....lol)

I really doubt the fact that all doctors suck in FL lol, but if you went to see multiple doctors and they all said it was nothing/fine, then my guess is that they are telling the truth. Just because it shows some aftermath, doesn't mean its bad. And like they said above me, ask the doctor specificly what it is.

See a different doctor for a second opinion. Some doctors seem like they don't know what they're doing for instance my mom once went to the ER for severe stomach pain she spent the next 3 weeks in the hospital trying to convince them it was her gallbladder when they finally found out it was it was to late and they had to remove it.

It could very well be nothing -- your leg is not a completely solid thing, with no give beneath the skin.

i think this is the WORST place to ask these type of questions lol

Well it's hard to say for sure but it's nothing to go to the ER for. Anatomy can very from both legs so this could be normal for one leg and not for the other. It could be a hairline fracture that has healed its self and is causing the indentation. It could also be edema (fluid) build up on the surface on the bone causing a soft area that if you palpate (Feel) causes a indentation feeling. In short if you're underage consult your guardian/parent and let them decide. If you're older than that simply ask your doctor or even another one and they'll figure it out.

The only thing you should really be worried about is any sort of symptoms while feeling or walking on this leg such as pain, weakness, or discomfort. Feel the indentation a bit and if there's no pain you should be fine. If there is could still be a hairline fracture or the bone being bruised/deep bruise subcutaneous level. From what I know though this is quite normal and if I recall I'm pretty sure I have a indentation too on my right leg.

Sometimes people might have little inlets on their legs.  Consult with another doctor, and if they say it's nothing, don't lose sleep over it.

Just know that if they don't do anything, and something happens to you. I think that you can sue for money or something like that.

Yep...

I Was pretty pissed at the pool guy -_-

I Wanted to sue him lol, but i'm 14 so that wouldn't work out.

As the shitty fanbase gets butthurt xD. And also, a million downloads doesnt mean a million people on this site. Which if you thought i meant the LCPDFR mod community, you need to work on your logic and thinking skills. There is only a couple thousand members here. No need to get butthurt fellers, lcpdfrs down felller!! THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!!!

I have to say your post is very confusing. Ignoring the fact of basically going completely off topic you decide to insult the member base of our site, yet aren't you a member? It's clear that the only purpose to you posting is for some sort of trolling and such behavior is clearly not allowed here. It's safe to say you need a break from lcpdfr.com...

Topic closed since it has pretty much run its course and further discussion seems to be off topic/irrelevant. All off topic posts will be hidden for the sake of the topic if some one wishes to further read it down the road.

Nothing to see here!
