What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?

I would like to see calling EMS. I just have one thing to add, maybe if the person is severly injured they cant heal them persay and their partner will come over with a stretcher(those small orange ones)and strap them to it and his partner will treat the person while they go off and heal anyone else and once he is done he will come back and help him load the person on the stretcher in the ambulance and they will drive off. If someone has been mutilated by explosions or severe gunshot wounds maybe they have a small chance of bringing them back and if they do then they do the stretcher thing.

Just a thought.

  • As mentioned before in this post, and as I've mentioned earlier, more "boring" and peaceful police tasks, for instance: Domestic disputes Traffic accidents Shoplifters (clothing shops have al

  • How about some Officer assistant calls like Joining a pursuit in progress, and maybe some MVA's...ummm built in radar and random car speeding if possible, and lastly, how bout a traffic stop, you ask

I would like to see more realistic calls like police actually get like domestic violence calls or a reckless driver call or an assualt or rape or murder things that actually happen frequently and mayb

Yes, the bad guys should try to help the inmate to escape with some drive by or roadblocks or shit like this.

lawls you sneaky bastard! lol! you changed your avatar to be caine!

thats not bad if we add it to where it says "get out the car", "you can go" add that in with it put a marker at the back sorted

It actually would be cool if you could choose the LCPD helicopter when going on duty, and maybe responding to some calls (idk what kind of calls you can respond with a helicopter..)

you could respond to armed robbers when i was using 90c i did that

The more "day to day" police work would be WONDERFUL in my book. Since im actually testing to become a real officer, ive been on ridealongs and its not all action packed.

I would like to see plate readouts (kind of hard to code random plate numbers) like as you pull someone over, have him say "control 3 frank 14 making a traffic on New York plate 349 Mary Frank Tom" or something like that.

Also as you walk up to the car. if you have a partner he should go to the passenger side to keep an eye on things.

asking for drivers license pops up the info which is cool. but should include more info. like warrants, concealed weapons status, such and such.

walking back to your car after you get the license to run info would also be cool (being as cops computers are inside the car)

spotlights on the doors that shine on the car at night would be WAY realistic.

calling the driver back to the hood of the squad car and have a GUI pop up to ask questions, or to search the person.

BIG ONE!!! being able to cuff them without walking back and fourth to the checkpoints.

Having a checkpoint by the trunk to search it.

implementing something that reads out speeds of passing cars so traffic stops are more legit.

adding an option in the "reasons for pullover" for more realistic things. (no use of blinker, failing to yield, running lights, swerving, etc...)

DUI would also be pretty cool.

911 disconnects, where you have to go the a blip on the radar and investigate (could be a false alarm, could be rape who knows!)

I could go on for days. I really like playing this mod more than the game itself.

You guys are doing an awesome job.

New audio's might be a pain, as they use internal ones currently. But the rest of the ideas are decent, I'm liking them. Once the modular callout system is done I might even try to kick up some of them

The spotlight may be about the only one that's tricky as I've only seen a few police vehicle mods that actually had spotlights on them, so it'd probably look weird on most (since the positioning would be different as well).

Here's an interesting one. Bait car stakeouts. Design a mode where you basically can setup a vehicle, camp a bit away, wait for someone to take the bait and steal the vehicle then go get them : P

Maybe the suspects in a chase will just give up. Some people will give up and step out of the car with their hands up insted of running in a car with all 4 tires blow out and on there rims.

Definitely more menial police work. All these huge events are fine once in a while, but I find myself ignoring most of them because I don't want to deal with it all the time. Other than that, more stable scripts, maybe even a branch into fire/ems at some time.

We have tried to put as much as an emphasis as possible on more routine police work whilst at the same time making sure the mod is enjoyable for all. We will continue to look at both sides of policing and develop on all the ideas people give us.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

Maybe a naval side to it...Like terriost threats in the sea,migration control,drug control,pirate attacks,ships needing help.Just an idea.[i know i cant spell]

Why a naval side? This isnt the Gulf of Aden, its GTA and there arent any big ships that sail around LC. Only minor speedboats and some fishingboats.

I do like the fact of drug control and a terrorist threath. (If its possible) But then on land and not on sea.

New poster but long time lurker. And I have to say this is by far one of my favorite mods.

First, tally in my vote for some more "mundane" police work.

But there are also two other things I would like to see:

- Would it be possible to include a checkpoint on the passenger side of the car during a traffic stop? I'm not a coder/modder so I'm not sure if this would conflict with the default checkpoint on the driver's side.

- I would also like to see a way to "run" plates. The idea would be that you can use some random generator to generate a plate number in a text format (the same way you run the driver's license when it shows the driver's name and DOB), and it could inform you if the vehicle is stolen or not (I would prefer if you could do this outside of a traffic stop, I.E: hit a certain hotkey and the info pops up, or you could drive into a checkpoint behind the car, whatever works).

Hopefully it's not asking for much, but it would be cool for me to see these in game.

The plate check sounds interesting..but one problem...for people who are really into it might let the cars (pretty much all of them) slide with the plates LIBERTYCITY the ones i have diff plates are my copcars

I think i been watching too many police shows. If i forget that it isnt 'The Gulf Of Aden'-but i see your point i would be better to have drug control and terroist threats in the city,[than in some small boat].xD

A wide-ranging vague question, what would you like to see more of in LCPDFR? It could be almost anything, shoot-outs, more 'routine' police work, car chases etc.

Hey there, I'm a new member but I play this mod for quite time and my suggestion would be:

1- A new system to lead your team members would be nice , because if I spawn four cops for example ,only one will reply when I order him to fire.

2- A key to call in Emergency Medical System would be nice to treat the criminal's or the player it self(by typing this I'm not saying to take off the Alt+M function that action is great.

3- NOoSE animations , the guy moves much slower because he is crouched all the time.

4- Action in Interior's , I really think that would give much variety and fun to the mod if criminals where hiding in buildings.

5- Some hostage situation would be nice , not the player to be the negotiator but the sniper , shooting criminal's at the right time like when they become violent or you receive the order to take the shot would be great fun from a top of a building.

6- Poor Pursuit's I think some of them should give up , and not stay in the car until set's on fire, what I'm saying is that the suspect should try and make a run on foot when the car get's a certain damage.

7- Also, Its very strange and cut's out the fun when you ask a car to stop and get out of the car , and after frisk him if it happens that he's an innocent he will just walk away from the car leaving him in the middle of the road , what I suggest is that he enters back in the car and keep's driving.

8- Stability , yes this mod has some problem's but nothing from the other world , I can see the that my game crashes if I try to respond a crime in the middle Island (Alloquin I think)

9- I usually found my self ignoring the activities because they kinda the same all the time, but you did a great work actually , but a big event would be nice once in a while, because I understand that is a routine being a cop.

10- Oh, and last but not least , the repair of the police car the criminals do much damage to my car ,and I can't repair the car in the paint spray, so repairing it for a price of course would be nice.

11- This is the most important suggestion ,you can ignore all the above but not this one , keep doing the great job you've been doing until now , I hate GTA IV and I just play it because I found this mod , Thanks.

Well thanks for reading this , don't take it too serious ,they are just some suggestions that could be improved by the community here, thanks.

That would be make pursuits even more realistic. Good idea.

Oops, Sorry for a bump, realised it too late.
