Hi guys,

New to LCPDFR and love what you guys have done with it. I would like to see a few things if possible:

Respond to or pull over drunk drivers and charge them with DWI

Drunk and Disorderly around or in areas of bars

Calls for traffic control

Respond to and assist on motor vehicle accidents (shut down lanes of traffic etc.)

Respond to Officer needs assistance or Officer down calls.

How about something like the suspicious activity call but in more special and strategical places? I remember when I went to New York the MTA ESU entering the subway and patrol there, so something similar here; you have to go to the subway, Times Square or to other important places, and patrol there by foot.

In the subway would be nice because you'd have to enter by the station, where all the people goes, and then by the subway tunnels, so there would have to be careful with the subway crossing. In the tunnels also there would be needed the flashlight.

Another entrance could be that subway emergency exit that where you left the tunnels in the mission of the bank robbery; besides, by that entrance, there is a room with machinery or something so, so it would be a great place for investigate.

In that call, you could encounter from a gun/drug dealer to a fallen person, or it also could be a false alarm.

Another idea is a police drill, where you would have to patrol through the city, going by some waypoints, with many police car more. Something like this, but going a bit faster:

I really like the idea suggested above ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. especially the surge drill!

I was thinking of a suspicious device call where you have to attend on scene along with many units including noose and FDLC. Then you would have to help contain the area, clear people out of near by buildings (like burger shot), after, one of the noose officers (helicopter noose guy) could go to see if the device is safe. (The officer could do this by using the 'healing' action)

With the AI driving, that's going to be breaking all sorts of police vehicle accident records.

Could happen in multiplayer.

I really agree with Jay-107's ideas, especially the last one,

I would like more pursuits, and also other officers calling for help rather than me being the only one in need of any assistance, what do the developers think, is that possible?

I don't know if has already said, but, how about an illegal demonstration? There would be many people, you'd have to arrest the demonstration leaders, and the violent people, and sometimes many people could turn violent so you'd have to fight and, if it's possible, arrest them.

I think could be an interesting call, also you'd have to use your hand to hand fight skills and the baton.

More calls. The more calls the more realistic. Fights, DUI's. etc...

Not sure if I should be posting this here or in the suggestions forum but I've been looking at the securicar and the armoured guards for it and I had another callout idea:

Distress call form armoured cash truck

Could come in a number of varieties:

Simple (stolen) securicar pursuit with heavily armed suspects driving. This would be an interesting take on a pursuit as it's in a heavy (bulletproof/really strong) vehicle

Car under fire while parked - just spawns with some Gruppe Sechs guards surrounded by gang members shooting at them.

Car under fire while driving - securicar is driving and being attacked by armed suspects following it in a vehicle (if this is possible).

calls for traffic accidents would be a good breakup of the usual stuff

car chases and shootouts bro.make it a action movie.or have 2 different version.one with more standard random police work and one version that has been kicked up a knoch

i dont know if it has been said or not , i dont feel like reading all the way back , but you can cuss at me later if you want , but what about traffic accidents where when you arrive on seen you have to find out if the person is drunk or has insurance, so you would have to decide whos at fault and make the proper arrest, or maybe D.U.I. drivers on the roads that you have to pull over , just a thought

How about performing the duties of either the Liberty City Port Authority Police, or the Liberty City Police Aviation Ops division.

For the Port Authority police, you will be tasked with assignments to enforce the Port's ordinances, on land or water, and to keep the peace. Your patrol routine will consist of cracking down illegal boat spreeders, curb drug smuggling, and chase down armed illegal aliens around the ports of liberty City, and the body water. You will patrol with a police boat, or your desired land patrol cruiser. The call-outs will only be handled in your port jurisdictions.

For the Avaiation Ops division, you will be the Eyes and Light from the sky. You will pilot the aircraft, and respond to call-outs. Providing light support for a unit in a pursuit, or track a speeding boat. Med-Evac patients from medical calls. Your jurisidiction is the sky. You will be the most dependable resource of all in Liberty City.

*sigh*, Guys, This post is more than 2 years old, This was right around when .95 was announced, And Sam was looking for input, I know everyone wants to express their suggestions, But its some what necroposting IMO, .95 isint really taking in anymore features at this point, Either way, I'll still allow it I supose....

I've stated this in the official suggestions sticky over on the suggestions forum, but Sam also stated in the 0.95RC1 release that the framework of 0.95 makes it much more robust, allowing new features to be more easily implemented. There were quite a bit of new features from RC1 to RC2, which are both technically betas, therefore no new major features really should be added. On top of that, many of the new features were popular suggestions being actively discussed here on the forums, so I don't think new posts here can be really considered "necroposting".

My statement was due to the fact that this thread is so old, And Sam has made it very public that we are not taking in any more suggestions, Also, I stated its necroposting due to the fact that not only because this post is very old, But users are also posting in here due to the suggestions area being frozen, Regardless whether any of the suggestions ever close to being used in any version, I already said that I'm fine with users stating suggestions in here, due to the thread already being so alive, So I don't understand why your replying to me, Since I was simply informing users how old this thread really is (Its not like I locked the topic or anything)...
