To me it just doesn't retain the original classic charger look I loved so much, the dodge charger was my favorite car, but this...if they plan on making all future models like this...then they will be losing a possible customer. It just doesn't retain the fierce aggressiveness it's predecessors retained with those new headlights, and the back looks much more similar to the dart's, it is true what they say, this thing just looks like a big dart, and that saddens me greatly. I sure hope they change its design back to its more classy looking forms one day, or else, I think dodge will lose a lot of potential customers and current customers. It saddens me truly to say that Dodge has officially turned the Charger into the Dart 2.0. This is a dark day in vehicle brand history...I don't like it. RIP classic charger, you will NOT be forgotten by those who truly cared!

Kill it! Kill it with fire!   Seriously though, I saw the concept design for the new Charger a few months ago and my opinion of it hasn't changed. They need to remove the Dart influence and let the

I gotta agree, its getting that Dart look. I think the front looks hella mean but the rear just looks to curvy and not right, think they should've kept the original rear. Not a fan of the new steering wheel either.

Isn't the best or worst car I have ever seen. The single most important thing however is what's under the hood. I say it gets a passing grade for that alone.

I just wanna say that the steel wheels seem like they were taken from a new Caprice or older CVPI. I am gonna miss the current Charger steel wheels.

The nose is as bad as the new Tahoe.

Edit: Actually, I think it might be worse. The new Tahoe's nose is awful, but this is a whole different level of bad.

At least it isn't a Fusion.

So we all were just waiting for this to happen. Welcome the all new 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit. In my opinion, it is not too bad looking. Link to full album below as well as an article about the new Charger Pursuit. :) Enjoy!!

It's pathetic. As others said before me, it looks like an overweight Dodge Dart with a Charger nose. I'm glad to see they have a 370BHP V8 ready to go, but with all that power it should be able to accelerate from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. The article says "less than 6" which usually means 5.9 seconds, AKA 6 seconds. That's no faster than the Crown Victoria, and it's actually a second slower than the Ford Taurus SHO Interceptor that's been out for a few years now. The debut Corvette Z06 had 380HP, so a 6 second 0-60 time is inexcusable on a stripped out car that's more than 10 years newer and meant for high speed chases. Moreover, police agencies often have to go the cheap route when buying their cars, so most will likely wind up with the V6 engine with BHP equal to the Crown Victoria, and even slower acceleration time. The only thing Dodge did correctly this time was giving it All Wheel Drive, but knowing Dodge, it's probably going to be another "active" system like Ford has, meaning it doesn't work at all times, only when sliding is detected which does you no good when you're an inch from slamming into a civilians car or a concrete barricade on a highway at high speeds.

So many people are worried about how it looks more than anything else, but very few of you are asking the essential question:

'Is it a better police car than we already have?'

The answer is a very clear no.

Back to the drawing board, Dodge.

It doesn't look bad, it just doesn't look like a charger. It's too round. The previous generation had so many sharp edges, making the car look so aggressive. This one looks wimpy, a bit like a scaled-up economy car. Maybe it looks cooler in person, instead of a large Dart.

Took the words straight from my mouth.

I just wish that Dodge created a new car and used this design instead of getting rid of the older one. Let's all hope it gets improved in the future. The designers just got tired of the old look, I guess. Nothing we can do about it :/

Exactly. People seem to think that because it is a Charger, it is the fastest and most powerful police car. The Taurus takes that spot. Plus I prefer a utility/tactical style police car over a "sexy" one.

It may look bad, but its about performance. Never looks. Agencies used the cvpi because its easy to fix, and its handling allowed for police maneuvers.

Also you realize police cars have upgraded internals, right? Also AWD for driving in snow, the old vic got stuck in snow.
