How do you run your gta game?

Featured Replies

Hello i was just curious what you guys have/run that seems to be stable and doesn't really crash. What mods do you use? I have been having problems alot more often of crashes, every time i pick a certain car it will freeze and loose textures. Just curious and tips, also do any of you use bravehearts mod with the newest lcpdfr and have any problems?

  • Running LCPDFR and some mods by Custo and Callahan. That's about it.  Not having any crashes, atleast not within hours.

  • CryENB v1 or iCEnhancer 3 (Still figuring it out) and about 3 Police Cars in and ELS v8 and my crash rate is extremely low.

  • Damnit, forgot about your mods. Sowwi

Whats your PC specs?

I can last 20 minutes to an hour w/o crashing, depending on the day.

I run the game on pretty much all high and very high settings, besides I think reflection or shadow quality, one of those is at medium. View distance, and detail distance are at 25 or 35. I usually play in multiplayer, seems A LOT more stable, especially if you turn cops off.

Here are my scripts -

it depends very much. some days i can play an houw with no chrashes, but some days just few minutes or not at all.

I have abraxas' coroner, tow truck and police helper scripts, everything car script, els 8, indicator script, ''les overtake'', bravehearts' policing script, brake lights thingy, traffic flow and trainer. I guess i should remove a few of them but i cant decide, wich one

I used to use a ton of stuff and crashed every 10 min, but i found out that ELS was the problem. Once i went Non-ELS I was able to play for hours straight, with 1.0c.

I have to RUN GTA ON LOW settings (PCSPECS IN SIG) because of my Graphic card

And a few of mine. ;)

Basically same setup as Ineseri's. Just without LCPDFR.

I run my GTA IV with almost every vehicle modded. I run LCPDFR. ELS and Game4Video ENB, I may change that. I don't crash for hours, nor do I get texture loss. 16 gigs of ram and a GTX 650 Ti works well. No framerate lag whatsoever.

I'm not rich, I worked off an arm and a leg for this. The rich people have the dual GTX 780 with an expensive keyboard, mouse and monitor.

I run my game on low settings with these mods

  • LCPD:FR 1.0
  • VDH Police Helper with all the extras
  • K-9 Mod
  • Seat Belt Chime
  • Speed Reader
  • Callouts+
  • All modded Police Vehicles

I noticed that when PC gets hot my game will crash and will also will crashes LCPD:FR too. I run things on low because my laptop cannot handle the game on high.
