Took a break from cars:

 

The LCPD DROT is on hold, but I only need 3 more models to finish the SAHP pack (sorry, I just had to make it!).

 

I really do hope that this thread and its WIP's are not dead... These packs are simply beyond amazing.

Well, I am still alive and kicking, but I just have so much school stuff to do that I don't really have time for modding, or even playing games.

That being said, if I have some time I will finish the LCPD DROT pack and maybe get the NOOSE one done.

Oh I didn't realize that. Sorry about it. No need to rush. Take your time. Quality is important, not how fast it is done for me. 

Hey, Yard. Not sure what you're up to, but I noticed you mentioned a making some Noose vehicles. Do you plan on making some Stockades? One for each of your ELS packs would be great.

To be honest, I have already made an LCPD stockade. It is based on Cj24's one. I don't think it's different enough for me to release, but if you want, I can send it to you.

Well, if we're talking about an ELS 8 version, I'd think that qualifies as enough of an upgrade if you can get a hold of Cj, but if you have a link I'd take it.

 

Take your time on other things, as more important stuff comes first.

Yard1, would it be possible to get Cromchen to convert the Police Riot from V for you, like he did for the Fugitive?

I was just wondering if the current set were set up for Rotator since it didn't seem like it, so those will be nice.

 

One question: does Express Mode work correctly with your setups? I noticed some were set to random patterns (which I just turned off to see what the normal is), but what do you suggest?

That's strange. What cars have those random patterns?

Uh, several did, but I just switched all of them to be "ExpressModeRandPat=off" so I don't recall exactly which ones. I also went through and forced patterns for the stages that work for me (26 looks like the default pattern of lights well enough for the LCPD pack), but I'm unsure if the AI is affected.

One thing I noticed on the Brute Ambo: the WRNL lights on the back have their environmental lighting at the front of the vehicle.

 

Edit: Yard! I hadn't noticed that you have a non-V Stockade in the Harbor City pack that works perfectly well for my tastes, and so does pattern 52 for all my Noose vehicles! I'm just sad there wasn't a Granger in the pack I could replace the LSPD one with.

Alright, I guess I owe you guys an update (if anybody's still following this lol).

 

Yesterday I have released one of my smaller projects - the >LCPD Vapid Radius PIU. Huge thanks to Michael V for helping me with the skins. Also, does the rear red leds bug out for anybody? They seem to work fine in my game, but luky45 reported issues with them.

 

The LCPD DROT pack is in limbo - it's almost finished, save for two cars (Pinnacle and Landstalker). I could either release it as it is right now, or try to finish it in future.

 

The NOOSE Pack is coming along, slowly. Very slowly.

 

School's hard and takes a lot of my time, and when I am back home I not only have a lot of homework, but also I am simply to tired to do anything, and during weekends I just want to play some games (Damn you Mass Effect! And you, Europa Universalis 4!). So don't expect updates soon.

 

And to be honest, GTA IV modding just doesn't feel as fun and exciting as it used to be, and starts feeling more like a chore than a pleasure.

I'm feeling ya! I'm basically running low on motivation for this stuff! I think I will do a few more mods then I'm retiring!
