It won't pass. And if it does, it will get repealed fast. I'm not worried about it.

No it won't get repealed. There's too much money involved to repeal it once it does/if/when it gets passed. SOPA is the one that most troubles me, but yes there's others. PIPA isn't a whole lot better

Using SOPA as an example, it is so vague that they can block any site for any reason at all. They could block LCPDFR for having an NYPD gallery image for instance and not say why

Of course it would. But so is the (so say) mistreatment of prisoners or any number of other issues. The constitution isn't sacred or considered at all. I'm not about to go agreeing with SOPA at all.

It won't work. There's too many technologies providing much better anonymity and adress masking.

U.S. Residents would be affected, anyone out of the U.S. could still access blocked sites... if the country doesn't follow America's path..
