Corruption- possible feature?

Featured Replies

I think it would be interesting if a corruption feature was introduced in a 1.0 plugin. it could go something like this:

1. stop/arrest ped as normal.

2. a menu could come up, maybe something like 'F11 to extort/accept Bribe'

3. if you select this, you'l let the suspect go, he'l escape and he'l give you $200 or a stash of drugs to sell on.

or you could go to a ped that is a member of The Lost or the Angels of Death and offer to pass on illegal goods to a marked ped for $500, maybe covering it up as frisking him, but actually slipping them in his pocket. I think it would add a bit of morality and fun to the normal LCPDFR  tasks. There could maybe be an event where you get discovered and have to make sure a witness is eliminated. It would certainly offer something different.

If someone could ever make a script like this it would be awesome.

Good idea, Seeing as I am a corrupt cop. I usually take gang members or hookers to Bohan or behind the abandoned Sprunk factory and shoot them in the head and then take there money.

You are just a phony. You got no class.

First, you gotta use a cop that has MUSTACHE. A corrupt cop without a mustache is nothing. Now, briefly and for the same you've mentioned WELL, you'd have to freeze (if possible violently using the nightsick and hitting his head against the hood of your cruiser) and extort the gang member. You make him pay you some fine and then cuff and take him inside your car. Now drive him, giving some bad cop style speech, to the enemy gang territory and release him close a group of rival gang members while drawing their attention.

Now enjoy the show while you slowly drive away.

Wow. I'd love to see that in action with this music. That'd be badass!

Well that might be alittle tricky since some features of this script might interfere with LCPDFR processes and the game might just crash unexpectedly since the game would be trying to execute 2 tasks of the same sort simultaneously.

I'm not saying it's impossible but it really seems like quite a challenge since there's no way you can legally edit LCPDFR (and it's strings) without the consent of Sam and the team.

Right. The LCPD doesn't take bribes (notice IV got rid of the III-era police bribes for wanted levels?) They'll just beat you up or shoot you and then take your wallet.

Emmmm, did anyone notice that all 'fines' are added to your amount of money when you give a 'ticket' to a driver? So that's no fine, that IS a bribe, We all collect bribes from citizens, but... But someone can never realize it till the very end. Remember commissioner McReary who always wanted to be good, but somehow accidentally collected bribes - just like us. IID is watching you.

Yup, and some don't do it for the money.

And the LCPD's patch is what, again?
