Ending of GTA V - Poor ...

Featured Replies

I Thought that the ending of Grand Theft Auto V was just abit poor , the storyline for the ending could've been abit more interesting .

Also the whole storyline together , is WAY to small , there is only roughly 30 missions . I Know they are bringing out DLC but the main game I though was just a little bit disappointing.

What did you think of the game?

70? Whoa I must've not been thinking lol . Yeah some missions were good but also a few could be improved .

Haha , I saved both ... I Chose Deathwish ( I Though they would all turn on Franklin and find out one way or another )

Overall I Think it could've been improved ALOT!

There was a lot of features in GTAV I was disappointed with:

- Nowhere to put big trucks

- Invincibility cheat is timed for 5 minutes (really?)

- Making money was disappointing

- Some missions were disappointing

- Franklin is disappointing

- Properties were a bit confusing

- VERY limited space to put cars

I agree with you.

I don't think GTA V is a bad game, the story was nice imo but it kind of lost in the freeroam part which some may find strange. I'm looking forward to a PC version.

That is totally my view on the game as well!

I Agree with you also ;

They should've added more space in garages and allowed big trucks to be parked inside.

Invincibility cheat - I Though that was a bad idea , I Usually use it when getting into the Air Base , but when your 5 minutes is up ... your basically dead without a chance to put the cheat back on.

Yeah I Gotta agree on the Properties , you should've been able to buy more stuff with your money , like actually BUY a house of YOUR CHOICE .

EDIT

I Though they was not bringing GTA 5 out on pc?

It's OK but I like IV much more, at this point, especially with the mods like LCPDFR.  Liberty City feels so much more alive than LS.  Also, although LS is a "bigger" map, it just seems empty when compared to LC.

Eagerly waiting for a SP DLC.  That should renew my interest until the PC version comes out.

Heck I wish GTA V would be available for PC at last. I love to cruise around and explore but I know each and every corner of Liberty City by now. When I think of the huge map that GTA V has to offer... oh my.

OMG and just imagine we had all those great mods like LCPDFR and the like in GTA V!

But some missions don't even contain a cutsence, for example when you have to obtain stuff for a heist. I don't really count them as real missions.

I think GTA V was way too short, they could've made more out of it.

The stranger and freaks missions on the other hand are really fun, especially the Civil Border Patrol.

I find the map in GTA V way better than in GTA IV. Liberty City is well done, no doubt but it's just everywhere the same dark depressive atmosphere.

San Andreas offers a lot of variety.

What I don't get is all the fuss about the online mode. It's not bad but it's not that special. In my opinion they should start focusing on singleplayer

Yes, absolutely. They left so much potential out for the freeroam. There are less enterable buildings than in IV (no fast-foods, no hospitals etc.), and generally in many places of the map I've found myself thinking: "Ok, here I am. Why isn't there anything to do here?"... Paleto Bay, for example. I mean, they build a small town on the other end of the map that you can only reach after a long drive and there is not a single enterable building? Seriously? (There is one there for a mission, but that is locked afterwards)

Also, that the only enterable bar is right in the middle of the desert is kinda lame, especially when they've fully modeled Tequi-La-La but for some reason decide to shut it down after one side mission as well...

Agreed, the main story felt too short. IV had somewhat 80 missions with one main character, and V has 70 for three main characters. No wonder it felt rushed.

For the map, as I've written to ineseri: Yes, it looks awesome, but in my opinion there is so little to do in so many places...

And personally, I think that is because of GTA Online: In my opinion, they focused way too much on the multiplayer and left the singleplayer short of what it could have become.

For example, there is a video on youtube that shows a fully modelled enterable Bank in Los Santos, sitting there and waiting for the heist missions to be implemented. I mean, come on, R*! You get famous for awesome singleplayer games and now you actually have extra map content for multiplayer? To be clear: I wouldn't mind extra stuff for GTAO if the singleplayer dind't feel so... empty at times.

But some missions don't even contain a cutsence, for example when you have to obtain stuff for a heist. I don't really count them as real missions.

I guess the only reason GTA 5 was short for me was because I played it for 9hrs straight over a span of two days.

I guess the only reason GTA 5 was short for me was because I played it for 9hrs straight over a span of two days.

When I did about half of the main missions it was revealed that you get the SAHP uniform after completing the main story so I couldn't finish the story fast enough and it took me quite a while.

But after completing all main and side missions I only like a few enough to replay them.

And one thing that still bothers me is the blood on the clohtes. I know you just have to switch charcters while free roaming. While on a mission it vanishes after some minutes but it's still too long, it should be like in Red Dead Redemption or there should be an option to disable this completely
