Goodbye Microsoft

Featured Replies

Just finished watching the E3 press conference release of the PS4, and I'm happy to say PS4 has won a spot in my heart, I loved all the jabs they took at Microsoft when announcing that you WILL be able to buy used games, you will not need to be connected to the internet once a day to play even Single player.

They did announce that to play Multiplayer, you will need to become a PS Plus subscriber, that costs about $5/month but think of what you get being a PS Plus member, able to upload saves to the cloud, free games, and more. I think thats more than what you get from the X1.

That, and the PS4 is a hundred bucks (That's like two and a half tanks of gas!) cheaper than the Xbox One. Which is a major deal for my books. Also, the ability to trade games and playing offline is

yepp. The style of the console looks ok, nice and slim, and interesting.

I've never liked the X"BOXES" because they are too boxy looking.

Personally I prefer the look of the PS3 Fats to the slims. As I say in my videos, I love the bigger bodies.

Also here is a playlist of my Pre-show and Full Review on the PS4 Release:

Yeah, I think Microsoft may have made a mistake with the Xbox One. It seems they are trying to appeal to the older audience now. With that "All in one media device". A teenager doesn't want a media device, he wants a console that will play amazing next gen games.

What am I going to buy? Neither. I'm going to stick with my PC. It works for gaming, media, etc. I Just don't see the point in buying a console to do what my PC already does, just on my TV.

That could all change though.

Also... Xbox one Just kind of looks ridiculous. PS4 Looks sleek, futuristic.

Veni vidi vici

Sony have too won me back.

I traded my PS3 in years ago for a 360, purely because all my friends had one.

I had some amazing times on the 360 and I'll be keeping mine purely for GTA V but I'll be heading back to my Sony roots with the PS4, Microsoft have lost a ton of fans from these "exciting new features".

I love this video, they are taking so many stabs at Microsoft, idk if you watched the press release, but the crowd literally went wild when they announced that they are supporting used games.

I like your points, yes I never liked the all in one idea too, Netflix apps are enough in my idea. Those kind of app's I'm ok with being on the PS4, because it's different than live TV.

I love PC gaming, and there are many games on the PC that won't be on consoles, but there are games that I would rather play on a console, such as Call of Duty due to the PC versions being so full of hackers, I prefer to play on a system that is harder to hack.

And yes, as I did mention above, I do love the look of the PS4, and I've never loved the looks of an Xbox.

yeap PC all the way it might take longer to get the games but the wait is worth it. Also with the PC if i need a part i can replace it myself without having to send it to the shop. Unlike the consolse if something breaks you have to send it off then have to wait for weeks to get it back.

Sony have too won me back.

That what happen to me all my friends were on xbox and i had no friend on PSN. I do have a PSN thou but no playstaion.

The truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed.

I'm 100% for the PS4... Xbox is just... xbox.. I don't know. It's had issues since it's release. Always having some sort of malfunction and whatnot here and there

Everything needs more lights.

I've had my PS3 fat for close to, if not longer than 5 years, no issues at all. I get the occasional overheat shutdown, but our place is quite dusty, and sometimes I forget to clean it out.

I tottally agree with you. If I wanted an "All in one media device", I would buy a PC. In all seriousness, you can do so much more with a PC than some storebought media device. I also don't see the point of buying a brand new gaming console when I can just play games on my PC. The only thing that could convince me to buy a new gaming console is the games that are released exclusively for that console (such as Forza). The "media device" market is already saturated with competitors, and I don't think Microsoft can win marketing the xbox as one, as there are much cheaper alternatives if you simply want to stream netflix, surf the internet, and watch youtube. Frankly, I think that if consumers are smart enough, they will realize how pointless gaming consoles are, and instead opt for a good computer that lasts much longer and can perform many more tasks.

I hate to jump on the hate train with everyone when it comes to the XBOX One's new policies, but there are too many negatives to buying one vs. a PS4. I'm just wondering if I should get one upon release or wait a few months. Pre-orders and availability will be limited I'm sure.
