Man, this is so awesome. If only textures started loading LOL! I have a beast rig, still most of the textures are invisible. They should really think of some way to reduce the size of these maps.

I have just tried the map out. Everything looks good. Unfortunately I am constantly getting texture lost. I have found out that vdh Tow truck script definitely will NOT WORK on this map. 

 

PS. The traffic is pretty slow in this map mod. 

 

That traffic slowness is pretty common problem with map mods :/ I guess its not possible to change the speed of the cars..

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting this or it is just me (I'm assuming its a PEBKAC issue) but every time I download the mod it downloads fine, But then when I go and extract it from the .zip file then I get an error. A CRC failure error of some sort. I'm using 7Zip btw. I'm downloading the mirror link one but it'll take a while. The map looks amazing and hope it doesn't bug out my game. Would love to do a commentary lcpdfr video using this map soon.

Great job to Nine30 on an amazing looking map that I still have to try out and Thank you to Carrythxd because if it wasn't for you I would of never known about this map. +1

 

Off topic here:

I would love to see a map that adds a freeway around the whole LC island connecting all Islands together with hills and stuff and not an elevated freeway like Plumbers Skyway. (Just tossing ideas in case of Stilldre and Nine30 are reading this)

 

EDIT: So downloading the Mirror link worked and fixed the issue I was having. I tested out the map and forgot I had a traffic enhancing mod and now my road has a traffic jam from end to end. I was like holy cow that's a lot of cars. LC itself doesn't have this much traffic. I had to code3 through the entire map on the shoulder just to get through. Epic map either way. Loving it!

For some reason my game doesn't load, it just dissapears during the loading screen.  Am I missing something?

So.... I downloaded this, put it in and discovered my computer can't run it. After hours of tampering with my files I finally just decided to reinstall the game. Now it doesn't load at all? Am I missing something stupid?

I love this map mod but, I hate it when the map disappears. Whenever I get out of the loading screen the map disappears.

Who Knows. I think that is the reason my textures when wacky. 8GB of RAM. Not the best map mod out there.

Don't know but the guy must've gone insane. He should've realized what he is making is limited to a very tiny part of his audience as even moderately high end PCs won't run it.

Cant say for sure, but I think it should work. 

The best way to find out is probably by testing it yourself, and that is the fastest way too :p

EDIT: Whoops, didnt notice DeluxeBrian's video, a few posts above this.

It works in multiplayer with LCPD:FR 0.95 RC2.

I love this map and I've used it loads. Only down side for me is, the buildings ( motel and others, not the farm type ones )won't load up :(

But that's probably due to my crap computer
