LCPDFR ON XBOX! NO JOKE!!

Featured Replies

Okay! This is real! The mod is called LCPDFRX and was made by higuy0900. I know this because he was in my old clan, and we used to talk about it a lot. I'm not sure if this is the mod you are talking about, but it is real. Go Google search it. I think I still have the download link, but I'll check.

Alright, but who would want to do that just to be in high risk of getting banned for breaking the ToS from Microsoft? I find the mod useless, just buy a computer that runs IV...

Same here.   Can you get banned? Yes. But it depends on the situation. A good friend of mine said that complaints are only valid if the person played with you, and it can usually take around 10 comp

  • That is NOT LCPDFR or any project associated with G17, the creators of that mod is using the LCPDFR to promote their own product.

In all honesty why would anyone want LCPDFR for an Xbox 360? It's worth buying it for the PC/getting a nice computer. Just go on Youtube and see all the videos, addons, fun people have. There is something for everyone on LCPDFR, some like fun (chases, explosions, etc) some (like me) enjoy realism, having accurate vehicles, uniforms, firearms, and doing things realistically.

It's a unique COMMUNITY, LCPDFR is more than just a mod/addon. Something that can, and will never be re-created on GTA IV Xbox 360. Although I have been in some great Xbox Roleplay groups in the past!

Haha, this was me. My gamertag is "Monochromatisms". and yes, LCPDFR has come to Xbox. Although it is in it's beta stages.

You clearly don't know anything about modding GTA on Xbox 360. I've been ISO modding GTA IV for xbox for 4 years now, Not a single ban. Thanks anyway though! <3

How? How can you do that? How can you change the game code or add new scripts? Can you change the model/textures too?

Can you change the model/textures too?

Most people can do with an ISO is simple script changes. Model changes aren't possible.

For instance, they can give themselves insane speed, set other players on fire, teleport to other players and put neons on their cars. Aswell as spawn objects.

Its not amazing, just a limited trainer, as for this modification on xbox, we've got nothing to do with it. The name is purely coincidental

Same here.

Can you get banned? Yes. But it depends on the situation. A good friend of mine said that complaints are only valid if the person played with you, and it can usually take around 10 complaints on the same subject to even get noticed. Even then, it's more likely they don't suspend/ban you.

It depends on how you behave. If you harass other players, then probably. I used to drive around and spawn vehicles, and generally keep people happy. Modding GTA IV on the Xbox is no different than modding GTA IV on the PC, the only difference is that the mods are more focused on cheating compared to PC. But you can find mods similar to the PC, such as the superman mod.

Anyway, LCPDFR on Xbox 360 is somewhat an insult to G17 Media. They should have used a different name, but I have no problem with them expanding and improving console mods. They've made a lot of progress the last few years. I disagree with people using mods to cheat, but I don't have a problem with people using mods to expand and add fun to the game.

I thought I would clear that up for some people, because I've read far too many posts saying "You're going to be banned permanently by Microsoft". In reality, it depends on the person using the mods, not the mods themselves.

Oh, I see. I don't have an XBOX anyway, I was just being curious. And yeah, I know that it is just a "coincidence" that the two mods have "similar" names.

Yes they do have "similar" names. Issue is that LCPDFR is and I believe that the name is G17 idea and mod. So... Not sure if that is a legal issue or not. But if LCPDFR is copyrighted by G17 then it's there's only.

Same here.

Very well explained Nick. As I have been modding for so long, that shows I'm not a idiot modder. I Join a game, change my model to a cop, spawn a police car and chase online players and sometimes make an arrest. This is with just mods that have been released, not "LCPDFR". I really do love LCPDFR on PC, but I have terrible lag so I do the next best thing and do it on Xbox 360. It's not quite the same but somewhat similar.

Thanks for backing me up, some member have a "No proof, didn't happen" kind of attitude and won't believe or even take into consideration what others say.

I don't believe they have a copyright on the name, but they should have called it something else just out of common courtesy. Different mod by different people = different name.

The problem I have with people modding games on consoles is that, I'm pretty sure, it requires altering the system itself. Doing this is breaking the terms of use you agreed to with Microsoft. I'm not saying you will get banned, but if you murder someone and not get caught, does that make it alright? Obviously there is a huge difference, but it's the same concept. Just because you probably won't get caught doesn't make it okay.

It's not a huge issue with me - nobody is getting hurt and I couldn't care less whether people cheated online with mods since I don't ever play online, so it's not like I'd make a big deal out of it.

Yeah your probably right on the copyright part!

I'd love to have that mod for my Xbox TBoGT cause the console GTA IV is way better than the PC. However I do think it's dumb he used the LCPDFR name and kind of plagiarized the whole traffic stop options. I'd love to see a policing RP mod for the Xbox, just not one that is stolen goods.

Like Original Light said, as long as you're not an asshole about it and use the mods to screw over other people online and just use the police mod for your own fun to RP. Then I don't think anybody would complain or even report you.

If a stable, fully functional version of a policing RP (not named LCPDFR but something else) comes out for the Xbox then I'd definitely go for it.

Well that's my 2¢
