Sp4s12sNewCallouts : More callouts, more fun !

Featured Replies

Presentation

Sp4s12sNewCallouts is a script which will allow you to respond to more callouts when you'll be on duty. For now, I, as developper of this mod, have not the pretention to revolutionize the gameplay of LCPDFR. But I wanted to have more things to do within LCPDFR, especially some cinematographic callouts... I mean callouts that will gives you more action without touching the realistic side of things. So this is it, I present to you Sp4s12sNewCallouts. Obviously, my project is not over. I'll implement other callouts but I also need time to track bugs then clean them.

  • Yeah thank you ;) it's a research work into the game audio files and a mixing work :)

Dude, love that Taurus and skin.  Got a link?

Also, the call-out is very cool.  I like the idea of the car/suspects driving around somewhere in the city waiting for you to find them.  Until you the find the vehicle it's kind of like an APB call (All Points Bulletin).  Very nice!

Looking forward to checking it out!  Thanks for posting.

Good day,

DrDetroit

Good start!

I like the idea where the callout doesn't show you where to go exactly. You have to find suspicious vehicle yourself on your own. (like in original GTAIV game where you receive images of cars and the last known location on your phone to steal for Steve, Bruce's friend).

more new callouts like person of interest spotted in certain location kinda like fbis most wanted mix between the default lcpd computer of most wanted suspects something like that would be cool

Ok I move my request here:

Why don't you make.... missions for SWAT or something like that? It's a thing we are really missing & it could be done with awesome vehicles like the Bearcat! :D

Thank you for considering.

I'll consider the two ideas which i think are good. But keep in mind that i'm the only person behind this project and it takes time to develop it. I've a life at the side of this :D

You have to know that i'm rewriting the code of the callouts par because i want to have the most powerful and reliable code before adding new stuff.

Actually, the current code is not meant to have multiple callouts... i've reworked on this and now, the callouts will be more easy to add so it's easier for me :)

To conclude, i'll not be there from Friday to thuesday so the mod will not move these days :)

REPOST:

I like the script, however, you should tweak it a little.  Instead of terrorist call, you should make it a APB alert (All Point Bulletin), looking for a certain suspect in a certain type and color car.  There should be no GPS tracking and only vague, if any, indication of where the car/suspect is located.  While on patrol, you'll keep a sharp eye out, but not necessarily chasing the vehicle until it's spotted.

The call-out text (or APB) would look something like: "Suspect last spotted in Northwood, a green Huntley with one white male.  Proceed with caution, subject is armed."  Not much else would need to be changed script wise, just get rid of the GPS location and change up the call-out text.

Pretty cool script though.
