Callout Response 1.5

ADD ME ON DISCORD FOR SUPPORT: DeSeptic_Oasis

Callout Response is an LSPDFR backup plugin that gives you more control over how units respond to your callouts. You can request local patrol, state patrol, SWAT, ambulance, fire, and coroner-style units through a simple manual menu, or let the plugin prepare backup automatically based on the current callout. Backup can also be staged before it rolls in. This means units can wait nearby until you approve them with a Y/N prompt, helping keep scenes from getting overcrowded too quickly. Callout Response supports Native LSPDFR, Policing Redefined, and Ultimate Backup. It also includes an in-game config menu, flexible response profiles, and editable hospital/fire station locations through FacilityLocations.xml.

Features

  • Manual backup requests during accepted callouts

  • Automatic backup based on response profiles

  • Staged Y/N roll-in prompts

  • Local Patrol and State Patrol support

  • SWAT, EMS, fire, and coroner-style responses

  • Editable hospital and fire station locations

  • Native LSPDFR, Policing Redefined, and Ultimate Backup support

  • In-game configuration menu

  • Optional backup light/siren behavior

Notes

  • Staff say this mod is substantially influenced by AI. It is not, this was set by a staff member who has a bias towards me for unknown reasons

  • Callout Response is intended to support up to 24 configured/requested backup units. Values above that are unsupported.

Requirements

  • Grand Theft Auto V

  • Rage Plugin Hook

  • LSPDFR

Optional Support

I’m having an issue. Iv installed the Mod when I accept a call it says units are responding but no one shows up. It’s set up for ultimate backup I have checked that. I’m sure I’m missing something simple

Are you able to recreate this issue and show a video of some sort?

This mod is good on the surface. In some ways, it beats Tactical Response Backup because I’m able to add over 200 phrases without it freaking out or breaking like Tactical Response Backup does.

However, Tactical Response Backup still has an advantage because it allows me to request a specific number of units through Grammar Police. For example, if I say, “I need four units to me,” Tactical Response Backup is able to send that many units through grammar/voice commands. With Priority Backup, I have to do it manually.

I like your mod, and I think it has a lot of potential, but a few core features need to be fixed. I would recommend looking at how Tactical Response Backup handles voice/grammar phrases and unit-count requests, then reworking the grammar phrases so they hook properly.

I’m confident this is not an issue with Grammar Police failing to recognize my phrases. I’ve been playing this game for a long time, and I know how to phrase commands correctly. The mod is promising, but it still needs some work.

In the meantime, I’m going to keep using your mod for the extra phrase support, but I’m definitely still going to use Tactical Response Backup until you release a solid update that can fully beat it out.

I can try make a video. It’s strange I accept call it says units will spawn when 255 meters away but no one spawns and there no log in the rage log. And once call finishes it says it’s dismissing units

So based on my research after noticing this, it says that for priorites labeled as "NoPriority" as well as any other priority label... I will get that situated in the next update when i decide to push it out. Until then, feel free to add me on discord (@DeSeptic_Oasis) if you have anymore issues so I can address them personally and help you out!

I will tell you, the only thing i would need to update from your message is just a logic that reads the "amount" with multiple options of "Single, Another" and so on for 2, 3 , 4 ,5 yada yada for the grammar police to pick it up and send that many units properly. So this will be something i look into for future updates.

I have yet to receive any other issues with the way grammar police responds to those commands specifically. Please make sure you have them installed properly and are saying "Send Me / I Need Patrol/Swat/Ambulance/Fire to my location" rather than just asking for "I need backup" as that is not a response I allowed my mod to handle.

Hey would it be possible to add automatic dispatch as well for Fire/EMS, and have custom audio Callsigns for those?

I'd love some more details about the all of the INI settings. This mod looks really good, especially since it looks like I can pull the call out titles from my call out files, and put them in your profile xml file. Haven't tried it yet. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the hard work!

Update, I found more info in the readme... my bad!

Mod works fine! However, it crashes when adding more than 24 active units in ini,

So that is less of a Callout Response issue... and more of a GTA, and to many active backup units with vehicles, and peds and blips issue. If you noticed when not even using the mod, and calling backup... after around 13-15 anyone will start getting performance issues! 24 is the hard limit for backup units... because you shouldn't really need more than maybe 15 for any scene... and that includes a mix of Patrol/SWAT. I put it at 24.... because I like to crash my games on purpose sometimes.... I am a big fan of stress testing

I made a plugin to find out, if 24 is the limit. Game didn't crashed, backup came. I just don't know how to make them be called via UB.

Not even sure what you mean by this....

what i meant by 24 is the hard limit for backup units is, i set 24 as the hard limit in Callout response lol.... not that it was a hard limit for any backup mod. But depending on the user's system specs, around 15+ starts causing performance issues... though personally i don't see any until like 22 ish

You said 24 is the limit, I wanted to find out if that's true via other methods. secondly, your plugin sends backup via Ultimate backup, which I find interesting how you managed to do so, I didn't found any UB api for backup

I see, Well, game can handle more than 24 on my pc, also, why this plugin only sends just one unit...?

Anyway to get backup to show up without a callout running like if i was just on scene and needed an extra unit? I love the mimic lights which is why i wanted this bc it brings units realistically to a code-1 code-2 situation and they keep their lights off after they roll up.

Why do you need more than 24 units? That is super unrealistic, and allowing it is a waste of time. Also, DeSeptic said, "I set 24 as the hard limit in Callout response." But I guess reading is hard nowadays, so I don't blame you, LOL.

Well, I don't really go for realism much, and the more the better :> Yep, reading is like... Extreme sport.

Depends on the callout..... please read the HTML that comes with the download.... it has all of this information within it

The whole purpose of the mod was for callouts and such. But i can see if I can get the mimic lights functionality to work on any backup unit separately. But this mod is not a "backup" mod of its own, instead it uses PR/UB's backup (whichever you have installed) So if you want backup on a "scene" you would need to use their menu. THOUGH! i have been thinking of a way to redundicize the "Manual" Backup menu for Callout Response... and see if I can just get the Backup menus from PR/UB to allow the same sort of functionality while keeping the Config menu.

Also! Feel free to join my discord! I am there quite often, but I do work of course. I will say I have a lot of future mods planned!
