My current locations department doesn't have any pictures online sadly. However, they have a badass 2011 Dodge Dakotas and Trail Blazers as their vehicles.

  • Same cars like Break . All police vehicles in my city are blue/silver. Source: wikipedia Source: wikipedia Source: wikipedia

I love them, too.

Therefore I´d like to make a drivers license to be allowed to use them after academy.

The California Highway Patrol uses the same ones.

Don´t know about other police departments.

Latvian police vehicles (we have a lot of old looking police vehicles from 20th century, but those are quite rare and mostly you can see modern vehicles on the roads, even thought the country is in deep debt and the govrement isn't even able to pay proper wages to cops, so basically if you get pulled over by the traffic police, give them 20 Ls and they'll let you go without any tickets or warnings or anything, cop cars in minor cities even lack fuel to do proper patrols, lol).

This seems to be one of the President's escort vehicles (apparently they use specific cars for that, according to the emblem and text written on the side of the car, not sure about those cars, only seen them once near a govrement building, apparently protecting it).

CBA to find more, it's hard to see the difference between traffic and standart police for me from just pictures as I'm not a specialist (AFAIK the standart police patrol vehicles have no indication on whenever they're traffic or normal, so it's just basically a mix or something, altought traffic police patrols way more than normal police does, so maybe normal police doesn't even have those cruisers like traffic cops do).

EDIT: Half of the pics I posted don't even work *sigh*

The department I work for won't allow us to post images, but I'll give you links to photos that are already online::

Strangely enough, the actual unit I drive is on that page... Being the only expedition that isn't slick-top in my district...

(U.S. Forest Service LE units in the traditional "USFS Green" are phasing out---white vehicles with green stripe are current design---similar to National Park Service LE units)

U.S. Forest Service law enforcement are responsible for patrolling hundreds of thousands of acres of National Forest lands in the U.S. They are fully commissioned federal police officers---they make arrests, catch speeders on state highways that run through Nat'l Forests, off highway vehicle enforcement, hunting enforcement, drug enforcement---etc. Very dangerous profession---back up is limited. However, the National Park Service law enforcement Rangers still holds the the most dangerous law enforcement job in the nation.

How about a few from someone in the UK? [images are NOT mine and belong to their respective owners!!].

5730541890_99a8d72475.jpg

One the Incident Response Vehicles/Area Cars used by my local force (Essex Police). They tend to generally use Ford's for general duties.

5827498109_7477f6132e.jpg

An older Volvo V70 T5 Road Policing Unit (Highway Patrol). Some of these also served as Armed Response Vehicles. There aren't many of these left now, (perhaps only 1-3 left!), they have been replaced by the newer (and in my opinion more ugly!) T6s.

5787198058_a82eb247d8.jpg

A newer V70 Road Policing Unit.

5891361324_c7b13879d9.jpg

A Land Rover, also used as a Road Policing Unit. Some of these are specialist Marine Support Vehicles too.

5621521060_ed204d83d3.jpg

One of our BMW RPUs.

3779939331_ee0eb3ddaa.jpg

One of the High-Performance "Interceptor"/Territorial Support Group vehicles.

So many pals from UK? Interesting.

BTW, are there any units left with the orange/yellow striped paintjob? Or is that just London metropolitan units livery?
