Where would your acceptance level in pricetag be reached

Rumours regarding the price of GTAVI are pointing to a price above 100 USD and for a extended mode the same in €..!
Where is enough enough for Yoú ?
The price should also be viewed in the light of the issue Killed games.
If we are expected to pay 100 USD for just playing the game for a period of time, and not owing the game after actually having bought it, it is at least for me above my acceptance of price for a video-game 🙄

Its not a rumour, its a fact, one version costs 100€ or 100$.

What do you mean not actually owning it? Do you mean that because you are only getting a key?

I think 80€ for the standard edition is an acceptable price. But that depends on what features are in the 100€ version exclusively.

I refer to all the hallahbalula there has been on soMe about killed games where games with mandatory login to game-portals like Steam or R* social-club, suddenly are not available any more like: Warframe, Star Trek Online, Quake Champions, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Path of Exile, Neverwinter Knight Online. A couple of FIFA tittles has also been removed. All the above are Steam games.
-Also i saw a post that said that GTAVI will not be modable. Imo that lower the value considerable! -And if that is true, all speculations about lspdfr for VI is futile.

I’m genuinely a little surprised the base price isn’t $100 and that Rockstar wasn’t the company to lead the industry there.

Inflation, wages, R&D and general operating costs, even things like electricity, have all risen sharply in recent years. Even major studios backed by Microsoft and Sony are struggling with the cost of developing modern games.

From a consumer stand point it sucks and I'm likely to buy games less, but it is what it is.

Depending on the game personally will dictate on how much I'll spend and if it's worth it. For me, I don't play GTA online so all the online perks and features are something I don't want nor need or outfits that, while yes are a pre-order bonus might be cool, we won't ever use them a month down the road. I usually look at pricing on what I want / benefits me more for the game I want and that's usually the edition I'll buy. I'm honestly surprised base game costs haven't gone up over the years and still hold out around $60.

I bought GTA V only to have LSPDFR. I got Legacy and Enhanced for USD$32.50 (must have been a Steam sale). I've never played GTA and didn't want to - I bought a finished account for another $29 so I didn't have to. I haven't installed Enhanced, and won't unless I can have LSPDFR. So I guess that means my threshold is somewhere in the $60-$80 range, but I understand about inflation. I'm not surprised at hearing of a $100 ticket price, and I'll pay something like that for what I really want. But I buy very few games - one a year or less.
