Rockstar actually did remove the Legacy version from the Steam and Epic stores. It's been de-listed. If a person already has the Legacy version, they can still play it or download it if they need to, but you can't buy the Legacy version anymore.

That's not entirely true. It's just sold as one product - you get both the enhanced and legacy version.

So excited for this! Once it is in a good state with lots of plugins available, Im definitely trashing the older version of GTA. Bye bye slightly yuckier graphics!

Some updates on how the development is going would be cool at least. A lot of people are anticipating this, and, while I am not trying to put pressure on anybody and I, in all sincerity and seriousnes

I hate to be this guy... but I need to ask you guys.

Since you've been working on RPH Support for Apple Silicon, could we see potential Linux compatibility at some point, I know that there was a good interest in getting LSPDFR running on a Steam Deck, and Linux in general.

I'm currently a Windows user, but I find myself using my Deck a lot more, and being able to run LSPDFR on it would be an amazing experience to be able to play LSPDFR whilst on-the-go

I've heard this already works with Wine/Proton. It's possible changes to RPH to get it working with Apple Silicon on Crossover will improve Linux compatibility, but I don't test with Linux.

Looking forward to this, any release date in mind or is it too early to say?

As Ben has outlined in his initial post, the development is still in early stages. There’s no estimated date for the release of it.

The BIG QUESTION: When?????

I was just about to install GTA 5 since its been AGES since i last played. But i wouldn't play the game unless i had it with LSPDFR.

Finding out today that GTA 5 enhanced is out. I decided i wouldn't bother playing GTA 5 until the mod is compatible. No sense in downloading and putting in the work for the old version. I CANNOT wait till this comes out!!!

When? 😪😁

Kinda stupid thing to ask but will all the plugins made during the Legacy days be usable with Enhanced?

Actually a good question. Developers knowing whether they need to update RPH compatibility or continue on the path of ensuring GTA compatibility can help developers prepare ahead of time.

It would also give the consumer (player base in this case) the heads up if they can just copy paste their plugins or not instead of experimenting.

Would love to see this answer.

That would be up to each individual developer if they wanted to make it for the new version of RPH/LSPDFR for Enhanced.

So basically the plugins MIGHT work with the new RPH/LSPDFR but it's up to us to test them (Basically what I read) anyway thank you for the answer!

I'm almost certain that when they create a new version of LSPDFR, the plugins may need an update by their respective Devs alongside it. Especially with the amount of changes that will be coming.

But who knows, maybe that won't be the case and they will work just fine.

I'm sure as much effort as possible will be made to ensure plugins continue to work. I don't foresee the LSPDFR API changing much but that's outside my realm of expertise.

Plugins that use more advanced programming (such as LSPDFR itself) would likely need updates though.

I've been thinking about that as well. It would be dope to have like a steam deck or have something like one of the other game decks out there. The problem with the other decks is that they are not rated the best.

I'm with you brotherrrr

EDIT: The Lenovo - Legion Go is rated pretty good from best buy and runs win 11.

I just saw that. I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out!

Not sure about RPH, but you can run mods in GTA 5 on Steam Deck. LSPDFR on the go would be great!!!
